Dear Readers:
     I don't know about you, but I think it is time that all Americans--citizens and those here legally--take a cold, hard look at the realities of this election cycle.
     We are not stupid and we no longer are ignorant.  As I witness the growing 'Sharia Compliance' in Europe, I see it creeping into all areas of life in the United States, even here in Connecticut where it has a fine foothold.
     Watch this 'compilation' video of President Obama 'clips' and draw your own conclusions.  From where I stand as a member of the same 'denomination' (movement, it's called) the UCC (the United Church of Christ),  I believe President Obama is trying to have the 'best of both worlds' with his religious affiliations--a tactic doomed to fail because those born of Muslim fathers ARE Muslims, period.
     It may be falsely flattering to some 'Christians' that our President attempts to masquerade as a Christian.  But at his core, it seems quite obvious that Obama is faithful to the Muslim roots of his childhood. 
     This is quite reasonable, actually, if not for all the tension, racial divide, threats from abroad and domestically by Islamic terrorists and discord our President's 'choice' has produced for all of us.
      I feel that he is not interested in protecting the interests of those of us who come from the Judeo-Christian tradition or even protecting our right to observe whatever religious beliefs we choose to.  I'd actually rather the President HAD no religious affiliation than to put us in the position he has today.
         If you are one of those who voted for President Obama and now have 'voters remorse', remember this: 
     It was the OBAMA TEAM who 'decided' to inject religion into the last Presidential race.
     It was the OBAMA TEAM who played a 'bait and switch' by utilizing the racially hurtful 'religio-political system' known as 'Black Liberation Theology' (also of the UCC) to garner votes and funding. 
     I know.   I was there at his first 'Presidential Speech' given in a 'church meeting setting' in Hartford, CT. 
     And hard as it is to believe, for a period of time (before I wisened up), I was called upon, as an elected local church officer,  to 'defend' the rantings of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright!
     "Got a problem with anti-white, anti-America Chicago Trinity news?  Talk to her."  Egads, that seems like eons ago, and I still can't believe I allowed myself to be put in that position without doing further investigation.  Shame on me!
     As for 'the Islamization of America': Are they KIDDING?  Did they think we would not NOTICE?  Did they think we would not CARE?  Did they think we would not REACT? 
     Our political leaders think very little of us.  By the time some people wake up, this could all be a 'fait accompli'.  Thank God we have our sturdy and upright TEA PARTY CANDIDATES!
      This formerly politically inactive Reverend has come to life and is alive and well working with the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS.  For the love of God and country, dear ones, PLEASE use the DISCERNMENT and INTELLIGENCE the Good Lord gave you and get politically active today!  Our aim should be PEACE at any cost, without being stupid about it.  Our aim should be to PRESERVE our American way-of-life.
     I really don't know if it is possible for the United States of America to peacefully exist with the Muslim world. 
     I do not know if the preponderance of Muslims in America are 'the GOOD ONES' or not.  As for Muslims in the rest of the world, I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that anti-American sentiment predominates.
     To date, Muslims have been remarkably quiet and rather surreptitious and largely self-serving in the U.S.  They have a public relations problem to beat the band.
     So-called 'Interfaith Events' we've been witnessing in the Northeast, especially, have done nothing but promote Muslim initiatives, and that with no consideration for non-Muslim sentiment.  
     I don't know how our President will shake out eventually.  I find it hard to believe that a strong-willed person such as he would allow himself to be TOO manipulated.  Many of us were hoping to 'root for' the black guy.  But I chose to vote for McCain for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with anything but good old American politics.
     The OBAMA TEAM turned it all into a game of class, racial, social, ethnic and religious upheaval.
     We don't need this.

     Well, I don't know about any 'major' Muslim leaders, but I count one Muslim 'group' 'locally', at least, who has spoken up against the horrendous anti-American violence flaring up in the Middle East and all over the world.
     That 'one group' is 'The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut'.  I thank them for speaking forth:

Dear Ones:
     Rather than emphasize the many 'negatives' about President Obama's response to and his 'handling of' the embassy killings in Libya, I will take a different course here.
     I praise our up and coming 'President Mitt Romney'.
     I laud him for his appropriate, honorable and COURAGEOUS comments--amidst a sea of Progressive Liberal 'nay-sayers'--about the terrible PLANNED attacks on Ambassador Chris Stevens and others at United States embassies around the world.
     Here in 'liberal Connecticut', as elsewhere, I urge all peoples of 'good faith'....those who love America and those who seek to work for true JUSTICE...to have the COURAGE OF THEIR CONVICTIONS and thus vow to protect this United States of America.
     We cannot ignore obvious truths.
     It is time to wake up...and it is time to pray, as we seek to avoid violence whenever and wherever possible.

Dear Ones:
     This is upsetting, yes, but it is hardly surprising in liberal Stamford, CT that this type of thing should originate here.
     But, Rabbi Joshua Hammerman of Temple Beth El recently 'went off', as many Progressive Libs are wont to do as if it is their birthright.  He raled on 'those not like himself'...and on those who do not hold to 'his particular social justice values'.
     The Rabbi's blog is called, ironically, 'On One Foot: Joshua Hammerman's Blog.  Unfortunately Rabbi Josh, you don't have a FOOT to stand on with your anti-Christian rant.

     I am very used to hearing from religious leaders with Rabbi Hammerman's mindset, especially ever since he played a major role in some ill-conceived interfaith shenanigans in the 'interfaith community'.

     But recently, Rabbi Hammerman's blew it bigtime!  Even I was surprised when he decided to zero in on all moderate/conservative CHRISTIANS in a very unkind (and weird) way by saying,

"If Tebow wins the Super Bowl, against all odds, it will buoy his faithful, and emboldened faithful can do insane things, like burning mosques, bashing gays and indiscriminately banishing immigrants."
     WHAT IN HEAVEN'S NAME ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, RABBI JOSH HAMMERMAN?  HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND? 
     Not surprisingly, 'Jewish Week' pulled Rabbi Hammerman's article and the good Rabbi offered an 'apology'.

not because they wanted to, but because they had to.
     Popular outrage saw to that.
     Be that as it may, it is worthwhile for people of ALL faiths (as well as for all atheists/agnostics) to educate themselves about the anti-Christian/anti-religion bigotry that is running rampant today.
     I, myself,  never realized that Rabbi Josh was such a Christianophobe.  He certainly successfully hid it from me in the 22+ years I have been acquainted with him via the faith community.
     But do draw your own conclusions.  May God grant us the ability to live together peaceably, if it is at all possible.
     To my fellow Christians, I say learn and be wiser.  Then do as Jesus would do.  
     Be smart about those who intend us harm and be as agreeable and understanding as possible with those who are 'different than ourselves'.
     Forgive Rabbi Josh Hammerman and sin not as he has in thought, mind, word and deed.

Dear Ones:
     The land of 'Oz'...more specifically the land of liberal Muslim 'Dr. Oz'...is full of fanciful fabrications where facts are fungible, friable and fatuous.
     In other words, with his recent 'independent' investigation into arsenic levels in good old apple juice, Columbia-graduated (Wharton, too!) cardiologist Mehmet Oz has launched his one-man Progressive fear-mongering campaign wrapped tightly in the trappings of what one ordinarily would call 'science'.
     Well, 'The Biblical Biochemist' is here to tell you that Dr. Oz's means, methods, motives and marketing are as suspect as the little shrunken 'mermaid' P.T. Barnum was wont to 'pass off' to us--the gullible public--as a bona-fide 'Mermaid'.
     Of the many things I love in life, two of them-my Christian faith and science-share the blessed adherence (or are supposed to) to truthfulness, straightforwardness and honesty.  
     As I say, ever the optimist, that the word of the Gospel is simple enough for a child to understand, so, too should legitimate scientific data be understandable to every human being, ideally.
     But here are the facts in this Dr. Oz saga, which speak of something I'd hoped had 'died out' in the medical community in the Middle Ages: 
     Dr. Oz sent the Food And Drug Administration his 'arsenic levels in apple juice results' as determined by one laboratory known as EMSL Analytical, Inc.
     The FDA patiently and courteously informed Dr. Oz that his data reflected TOTAL arsenic levels in apple juice and that, in fact, it would be necessary to perform a more detailed and elegant (and expensive) analysis of the form of arsenic (inorganic) which is the real threat to health.
     They even went on to tell Dr. Oz this in their 'letter FIRST letter to Oz dated  9/9/11:

"The FDA believes that it would be irresponsible and misleading for The Dr. Oz Show to suggest that apple juice contains unsafe amounts of arsenic based solely on tests for total arsenic. Should The Dr. Oz Show choose to suggest that apple juice is unsafe because of the amounts of total arsenic found by EMSL Analytical, Inc.’s testing, the FDA will post this letter on its website."

     And the FDA did not stop there, but followed up with their own analyses of the apple juice in question:
"Since learning of the results for total arsenic in apple juice samples that your show submitted to EMSL Analytical, Inc., investigators from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) went to Nestle/Gerber to collect samples of apple juice for analysis. Our investigators collected a sample from Nestle Infant Nutrition – Gerber Products, Co. of the same lot number of apple juice (Lot # 1157515791) that EMSL Analytical, Inc., reported to contain 36 ppb total arsenic. Our investigators also collected samples from additional lots of Nestle/Gerber apple juice."

     In addition, the apple juice manufacturer Nestle/Gerber performed THEIR OWN tests which corroborated FDA results:
"During its investigation, the FDA learned that Nestle/Gerber had tested samples in their own laboratory, including a sample from Lot #1157515791, and submitted those samples to two different food testing laboratories for arsenic testing. The results of these tests for total arsenic in Lot # 1157515791 are substantially in agreement with the results of the tests performed by the FDA. We understand that Nestle/Gerber has provided these results to you. Based on our investigation and testing, we are concerned that some of the results reported to you by EMSL Analytical, Inc., may be erroneously high. The analysis of foods can pose a challenge to analytical laboratories and seemingly minor variations in sample treatment and analysis can have a significant effect on results."

     And, so, once again, the FDA REITERATED it's admonition in a SECOND LETTER to Dr. Oz dated 9/13/11 to NOT suggest that apple juice is unsafe, for doing so would be both 'irresponsible' and 'misleading'.
     The second letter to Oz from the FDA reads, in part:

"In short, the results of the tests cited above do not indicate that apple juice contains unsafe amounts of arsenic. The FDA reaffirms its belief, as stated in our September 9, 2011 letter, that it would be irresponsible and misleading for the Dr. Oz Show to suggest that apple juice is unsafe based on tests for total arsenic."

     So, did Dr. Oz listen?
     NOPE!
     On Wed. September 14, 2011, Dr. Oz went on air with his 'arsenic in apple juice' scare:
"Oz said on "The Dr. Oz. Show" Wednesday that testing by a New Jersey lab has found what he implied are concerning levels of arsenic in many juices."

     Dr. Oz has incurred the ire of the CDC, TOO!:
"Dr. Richard Besser, former acting head of the CDC, scolded Oz Thursday on ABC's "Good Morning America" show for scaring consumers with what Besser called an "extremely irresponsible" report, the Associated Press reported."

     As to Dr. Oz's 'motive', one is first drawn to the obvious fact that this 'cardiologist' doesn't know 'squat' about chemistry.  I mean this literally and have encountered it before in those who prove 'exquisitely' that a 'wee bit of knowledge is often a dangerous thing'. 
     I don't care WHAT motel Dr. Oz has been staying at, he ought NOT to pretend that he is an expert in a field outside his own areas of 'expertise'.
     (Having taught both nursing & pre-med students, I can tell you that many a medical career has been derailed before it had a chance by a student's inability to master chemistry and organic chemistry in particular!) 
     But I will give Dr. Oz the benefit of the doubt that he is very intelligent and very educated and was an excellent chemistry student--both inorganic and organic--and so the only reasonable conclusion I can draw is that his motives for this apple scare are purely political.
     Or maybe he just made a 'dumb mistake'.
     Anyway, as the 'Biblical Biochemist-Where Science Meets the Cross', I find myself...for the very first time...utilizing my 'authority' as a woman of God to 'chastize' a fellow-scientist in matters of honesty, decency, truthfulness, full-disclosure and...motives, whatever they might be!
     A FIRST!  And it's CRAZY!
      It behooves us all to examine exactly WHO is defending Dr. Oz and his 'junk chemistry' and 'junk medicine' (my opinions) in this arsenic in apple juice scare, a task easily accomplished by a cursory 'google search'.  To wit:

"Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of The Dr. Oz Show, is Vice-Chair and Professor of Surgery at Columbia University and directs the Cardiovascular Institute and Complementary Medicine Program at New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is the author of five New York Times Best Sellers (including “YOU: The Owner’s Manual,” “YOU: The Smart Patient,” and “YOU: On a Diet”), hosts a daily talk show on Sirius XM Radio’s “Oprah Radio,” pens a National Magazine Award-winning column in Esquire Magazine, is a regular columnist for O, The Oprah Magazine, and performs over 200 heart operations annually. Among his many accolades, Dr. Oz has been honored as one of Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People” (2008), Esquire’s 75 “Most Influential People of the 21st Century,” and a “Global Leader of Tomorrow” by the World Economic Forum (1999-2004)."

     Dr. Oz is a busy guy, indeed!
     To the man...to the woman...he is being lauded and defended by those who are Progressive Liberals fully-engaged in and funding and/or funded by 'the Green Movements'...those some affectionately call 'Greenies', and whom I choose to call the 'Greenists' in honor of my Ukrainian/Russian heritage.
     I did not think I would see the day that SCIENCE would be polluted via CORRUPTED DATA by POLITICS to this extent...with the exception of  Al Gore and his cadre of 'Greenists', perhaps.
     Scientific fraud perpetuated upon us is becoming terrifyingly 'rift', as being brilliantly exemplified very recently by the abrupt resignation today of Nobel Laureate Dr. Ivar Giaever":

"Dr. Ivar Giaever, a former professor with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the 1973 winner of the Nobel Prize in physics, abruptly announced his resignation Tuesday, Sept. 13, from the premier physics society in disgust over its officially stated policy that "global warming is occurring."

     It just so happens that RPI is my alma mater, undergrad.  No, I didn't know Dr. Giaever personally, and no I wasn't crazy of his endorsement of President Obama.

    But I admire the woman or man who has the depth and strength of character to change horses mid-stream...and who is flexible and intellectually honest enough to do a '180' when it is appropriate to do so.

     I strive to be that way and I'm going to pray for Dr. Mehmet Oz that he choose to be that way and retract and redact all of his 'deadly levels of arsenic in apple juice' nonsense promptly.

     Apples...and apple juice...are as 'American as apple pie'.  Is there a coincidence there, Dr. Oz, I might also ask at this incredible time in America's history?

     You can ruminate on this, dear Dr., while you eat your next mid-flight 'apple snack' (thereby ingesting various nominal and non-harmful amounts of both inorganic arsenic found naturally...and CYANIDE, too, OH YES!, also at harmless levels unless you crush and eat a bunch of apple seeds).

     And as you contemplate this, Dr. Oz, also realize that at cruising level you will also be receiving a dose of radiation, as well.

     Will you put on your nutritionist's, analytical chemist's, pilot's, and physicist's hats and do some specials for us on those things, also, sometime?

With prayers for a life and truth-affirming resolution to this situation-for Dr. Oz, but more importantly, for all who are disturbed and whose lives have been disrupted by what has transpired in this 'most unscientific sideshow',

America and her true allies remember this day, September 11, 2001. 

     It is NOT a day for 'burning anything'. 

     It is NOT a day for complaining about petty things or for making arguments in favor of foreigners here who 'may or may not be' terrorists themselves.

     This is NOT a day for 'politicking' or campaigning.

     This is a day to uplift the United States of America.

     This IS a day for the real victims of September 11 and their families and friends. 

     This IS a day for the first-responders, those emergency crews who prove that God is present on earth. 

     This IS a day to honor the response, rescue and resolve of the 'good guys' of ALL nations and colors, races, religions and creeds and to uplift them. 

      This IS a day of  SHAME and DISGRACE for those who HATE the goodness of America and of the FREE WORLD.

     On September 11, 2001, we witnessed the 'winnowing of wheat from the chaff'.  TEN YEARS LATER, this winnowing continues.

     We witness God's Hand at work on earth in a very real way when we honor those who have worked, suffered and died due to the selfish hatred of those who love evil.

     On this day, we consider the UTTER DISRESPECT and LACK OF SENSITIVITY of those who use this day to further their 'NON-PROFITS' & their 'BUILDING PROJECTS' that in no way uplift and support those who have suffered as a result of the events of September 11, 2001.

     We CONDEMN those who seek ANY 'self-profit' at the expense of the United States of America.  

     We utilize this prime opportunity to 'pray for and love our enemies'.  

     May God grant Americans and others who cherish freedom the discernment to recognize HATRED for America and her allies in all it's incarnations.

     May God grant us the ability to recognize when religion is being used as a weapon and as a means of control.

     On this day of remembering September 11, 2001, we are a stronger, smarter, sharper and more fearless people determined to root out ALL that is a threat to our way of life and very existence.

      May God embolden even the WEAKEST among us to stand up to the intimidation of the terrorist mentality. 

     On this day, we soundly condemn those faceless cowards whose only intent is to wreck havoc upon God's people for their own gains. 

     Let this day serve as an example to the free world of our resolve.  

     And let those of us all over the world who are so inclined to PRAY RIGHT NOW for God's Blessing on this TENTH anniversary of September 11, 2001 and--

Please, pray with me now for family and friends and all affected by the recent explosion and shootings in Norway on July 22, 2011:

Dear Father, we know that you are Lord of all...believers and non-believers, alike. 

Some of us have faith now...and others are yet to be 'gifted' with it.  And sometimes it takes a tragedy like this for us to even begin to contemplate the frailty of our existence.

And so we turn to you in our grief over the Oslo explosion and the Utoya shootings.

We pray that you will help us to accept the unacceptable.

We pray that you will strengthen us to forbear at this time, to render help, to uplift and support those whose loved ones have fallen.

And we ask that you teach each of us, dear God, to be globally compassionate in a way which honors the innocence of the precious lives just taken.

Chasten us to realize how precious life, itself, is...and how, like a candle, it can be snuffed out in a moment.

Teach us discernment, so that we may detect and protect ourselves against those who wish us harm, yet live in harmony despite humanity's many differences.

And, finally we beseech you for peace of heart, for the realization that though the body will decay, the spirit carries on, so that we may learn to make our lives have value and meaning for the short time we walk this earth.

Remind us relentlessly, Father, that love is eternal and that to love we must always turn, no matter the circumstances--

 Dear Readers:

     Oh...it starts off 'innocuously' enough, but the motive of GAY BULLIES is painfully obvious for those of us who have been assaulted by them and their devious supporters.

     So, without much 'ado' here is what's behind the attack of radical gay bullies on churches and other conservative houses of worship, which I pray will be of some consolation to my church-fellows in New York currently struggling with gay rights and gay marriage, specifically.

     Points to understand:

1)  The gay bullies responsible for the 'uprisings' in houses of worship are typically not regular parishioners or visitors, and do not generally present themselves as genuine persons of faith.  Unlike our LGBT loved ones, these gay bullies wish to usurp houses of worship solely for their political and social gain.

2)  LGBT persons of faith are likely to attend UCC (United Church of Christ), and Unitarian churches, Disciples of Christ , Metropolitan Community Churches (MCC) and other 'liberal wings' of traditional churches.  Catholic churches are particular targets of gay bullies due to the church's pedophilia 'history'.  Gay marriages are already performed in many churches and in secular settings in certain states.  But gay bullies are NOT satisfied with this and wish to infiltrate ALL Catholic and conservative Protestant churches for their own personal punitive reasons.

3)  Gay bullies are 'one issue voters' and 'one issue church attendees'.  They are most likely to volunteer (if at all) for such things as hospitality, food and beverage preparation and event handling, so they can bring more of their 'fellows' into the church.

4)  When gay bullies infiltrate a church, it is important to determine who their 'inside contacts' are.  No gay bully can make a furtive or spectacular 'entry' without being enabled by at least a couple of church members who are either gay themselves or have a family member or two who is gay.  These church members will invariably end up on the O & A (Open and Affirming) Committee or at least be vitally interested in what's going on with that committee.

5)  Once the issue of 'gay marriage' is brought up in a church, it will be decided that a 'discussion of homosexuality' FIRST will be useful.  Many hours will be devoted to assuring one and all that, like Christ, 'all are welcome'.  Gay bullies bank on the good-will and compassion of clergy and Christians to do their deeds.

6)  Should anyone be honest and express any anti-gay sentiment, the gay bullies will shout the person down and label him/her as a 'homophobe', utilizing the typical tactics of bullies everywhere.

7)  Gay bullies will polarize a church overnight, thus distracting it from all the other work at hand.  Be prepared for this.

8)  Where gay bullies gain a foothold in churches, 'false good behavior' prevails in those who do not wish to be 'unliked' or called a 'homophobe'.    Free speech will be stifled.  The whole 'gay marriage discussion' will go underground...just like the gay bullies prefer it to be.

9)  As gay rights are discussed more and more, the subject of gay marriage will come up.  Many persons have strong feelings about gay marriage.  And many are 'okay' with a civil ceremony as opposed to a 'religious ceremony'.  But make no mistake:  gay bullies will settle for no less than full religious ceremonies in the sanctuary with a Priest or Minister or Rabbi celebrating.  Gay marriage proponents in NEW YORK call those who have strong anti-gay marriage sentiments (and who as clergy may not wish to perform gay marriages, as is their right) as using 'sad, filthy tactics'.  "Filthy?" Really?  How about I'll keep my religion out of your 'uterus' (or in your case, Alvin, your 'prostate')...if you'll keep your self-righteous gay bullying out of my 'faith life'.  Deal?

10) Gay bullies and their supporters will insist that just because a church votes to become 'open and affirming' (of LGBT individuals), it does NOT necessarily follow that the church will be performing gay marriages.  THIS IS A LIE.  Once a church 'goes' 'O & A', gay marriage invariably follows poste haste. 

11)  Anyone in the church community standing in the way of gay bullies will be confronted with any number of accusations whether true or false, including: claims of violations of civil rights, claims of pedophilia (especially in churches with histories of such), claims of sexual abuse and misbehavior (in the case of Protestant churches where infidelity and illicit affairs are more predominant than pedophilia) and the like.  Be aware of this and learn how to protect against 'false accusations'.  And if false accusations are made, FOLLOW THROUGH & PROSECUTE!

12) Gay bullies will challenge their detractors as being 'bad Christians' for not accepting them and all they demand.  They disrespect and discount the Bible and mock long-held Christian beliefs.  One of the favorite ploys of gay bullies is to make absurd comparisons of Biblical passages, such as, "Well, if you're going to believe that homosexuality is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord, then you can't have sex with your wife when she's menstruating."  Very quickly, discussion with gay bullies in church gets 'weird'.  Be prepared for this.

13) Gay bullies get their way by 'intimidation' when they can.  Once they are established in the church, they will tell their opponents, "If you don't like it, then leave."  Then they will deny saying such a thing.  Sadly, many DO leave a church which is overrun by gay bullies.

14) Gay bullies do NOT represent all gays.  Most decent gays, like most decent non-gays (Christians and otherwise) can 'live and let live'.  Of course, I may be wrong here, but I like to look for the best in people...which is why I've been so successfully 'suckered' over the course of my life, I suppose.  Gay bullies only care about what they can get and not a few of them had 'bad experiences' as children at the hands of 'clergy', so to them it's all about that most un-Christian of  concepts, 'payback'.  Oddly, gay bullies most strongly align these days with Muslims (who also feel sidelined, although most Muslims are not very open-minded about homosexuality).  Gay bullies will also align themselves with 'Black Liberation Theology' proponents.  This, also, is a curiosity, since the traditional 'Black church' is fairly straight and conservative.

15) The liberal gay community has a lot of resources for gay bullies to use to further their cause.  Outside groups will be brought into your church.  Protests may be staged.  Money may be 'brought in' with the contingency that gay marriages be performed with all the trimmings.

16) The Pastor must provide moral guidance when the church is under attack by gay bullies.  If that Pastor has any secrets of their OWN in their closets, or out, they must disclose and deal with it immediately.  Gay bullies are great at 'blackmailing'.  Any clergy person or church leader who is at risk of being 'blackmailed' should excuse him/herself from any further interaction in positions of authority with gay bullies.  Good churches should always police themselves as believers are admonished to in Scripture.

17) Gay bullies are persistent.  They say they want your 'approval', but really what they want is 'to be able to have their big church wedding just like everyone else'.  There is nothing particularly noble about this, in fact, though only God knows for certain what is in anyone's heart.

18) Gay non-bullies are often uncomfortable by the bully-tactics of their activist brothers and sisters, which is not to say that they don't secretly or openly approve of such tactics.  Still, churches need to be aware that closeted gay members may fear being 'outted' by gay bullies and thus may fall away from the church.

This 'falling away' may be misinterpreted as strong disapproval of the gay bullies, thus causing great anguish for non-radical LGBT persons when they feel like they have lost their church home.

19) It's all about power, sex, money and more sex.  Gay bullies know this and it serves the church well to know this and react to it with a 'clean heart'.  A favorite tactic is disrespectful disruption of church services:

20) The subject of children is a touchy one.  Many gay bullies have no authority over their tongues as they debate 'open and affirming/gay rights/gay marriage' issues in church.  Parents must be prepared to protect their children from inappropriate speech and actions.  And they must be prepared to 'explain' what gay bullies are all about in ways that are age-appropriate for the individual child.

21) Gay bullies (and other LBGT persons) in church are often found to be involved in 'youth activities'.  Gay bullies in particular are keen to 'help' young people 'determine whether or not' a child is gay.  I cannot stress strongly enough how imperative it is to be vigilant whenever a radical gay bully seeks close contact with church children.  Make sure chaperone's are present.  Do background checks!  Those who are abused sometimes grow up to be gay bullies who abuse children themselves.  In this day and age where anything goes, gay bullies must not be trusted even in a so-called 'church setting'.  Gay bullies have issues and have some 'out there' justifications!:

22) Gay bullies and their silent but ardent supporters are coming to a church near you.  All they care about is gay rights and gay marriage and they will 'damn' anyone who disagrees with them and/or gets in their way.  They take advantage of Christian hospitality and Christian kindness, knowing full well that in order for Christians to 'live the Gospel' we must love the sinner along with the saint.  And we must know that we cannot always tell the difference between the sinner and the saint either!  Scripture tells us very clearly that 'even the elect will be deceived' meaning that even churchmen and women will make bad choices and have bad discernment.  We are told that in these days, sexual mores will be lax and libertine lifestyles will be common even in religious settings, so that none of us should be surprised.

23) There is one last 'trick' that gay bullies have which they 'pull in church' in order to further their own selfish gay rights and gay marriage ends.  They will start to speak of Jesus as being gay.  They will speak of the disciples as being gay.  They will speak of Jesus and the disciples having gay sex together and they will speak like this in front of all...including the children they are 'trying to help through their wonder years'.  I am not aware that there are any Biblical passages that affirm that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is gay, but I am certain that the liberal left gay bullies have a plethora of evidence.  It's amazing how even non-Judeo-Christian gay bullies are quick to pull out a Bible verse they don't believe in if it is useful to make their point!  Prepare yourself for such talk.  There are no limits when it comes to gay bullies justifying a lifestyle they feel they must justify.  They will impugn Mother Mary and the other Mary and all the women in the Bible.  They will even go so far-as they have in the O & A gay-friendly, gay-marriage performing churches I am familiar with here in CT-as to call God the Father...'Mother'.

24) I've told you these things so that you are prepared when gay bullies attack your church in New York.  Be strong in Christ and testify to the truth.  Do not forget to be kind to strangers, but use the wisdom and discernment God gave you to determine what gay bully troublemakers are really all about.  Most of all, pray for those, both straight and LGBT, who are NOT like gay bullies, but who simply wish to live their lives in peace and in the Love of God.  No evildoers will prevail in the end. But in the meantime, true Christians must be strong so that when gay bullies who are interested only in the things of the world assault them and their houses of worship, they will be prepared.

25) It is claimed that legally, no Priest, Minister, Rabbi or other clergy person can be compelled to perform a gay marriage against their wills, nor force a church or synagogue or social center to service a gay event they are not comfortable with.  However, gay bullies are already seeing to it that such 'exemptions' be deemed 'unconstitutional' on the grounds that the rights of gay people will be violated.  

     As it stands, church leaders and their congregations will be the ones with no rights whatsoever should they oppose gay marriage.

     Please keep the New York religious community in prayer with me at this time.  I have a 'soft place in my heart' for conservative New Yorkers in the religious community, as I was one of the few 'moderate-conservatives' (now fully conservative!) in liberal Connecticut for many years.
     The truth was so expertly concealed from me that I want to warn others of this.
     I want to warn those involved in church politics in New York that they will be lied to.  False promises will be made to them.  And when all else fails, bully tactics are sure to follow in their wake from those with no consciences or regard for the law.
    The old adage is: 'give them an inch and they'll take a yard'.  
     The 2011 version of this is: 'give them an inch and they'll try to sue you for violating their 'civil rights' if you don't perform their gay marriages in your churches to their specifications no matter WHAT, if any their 'religious preferences' may be and HOW DARE YOU ASK ANYWAY?
     I will never alter my perception of marriage as it is given in the Bible and as it is in my heart as God speaks to me: Marriage is a union of men and women for good so that people don't 'stray' (I know, I know...but remember that we are all but dear sinners) wherein those who are intended to bear children do so and those who are so destined adopt.
     I no longer care if gays get married or not as long as they don't 'get into my face with it'.
     I don't care if they have a civil or church ceremony, as long as they don't tell me I must sanction gay nuptials in my church sanctuary'.  That will not happen.
     Others are responsible for what THEY do, as I am responsible for what I do!
     A church sanctuary is a holy place in God's house, no matter that my Progressive lib friends consider it to be nothing more than a 'really neat site to have a wedding and to take pictures with the cool stained glass windows'.
     Of course, my gay friends, God will know what's really in your hearts and what socio-political points you just had to make at your gay wedding.  Rev. Barb is happy to leave it at that.
     But there are LOTS of pretty places to have your ceremonies and take your photos.  Are you sure you really care about our 'churches' or are you just trying to make some kind of 'statement'?
     To all gay bullies: I want you to consider that there are those of us who dedicate our church sanctuaries for holy activities such as worship, communion, baptism, funerals/memorial services, weddings, confirmations and other life-affirming transitions and celebrations.
     Do you realize how disrespectful and hurtful you are to insist that you get your way when there are so many other options available to you?
     I don't expect the 'worst' of gay rights advocates to understand what I am saying here, especially those who don't have a faith life.  The greatest thing I can do for them...is to pray for them and wish them well.
     However, I DO expect gay rights advocates to RESPECT MY RIGHT to feel and say as I do as an American citizen who has a right to freely practice my religion.
     Neither do I  expect GAY BULLIES to understand that my refusal to perform gay marriages is anything other than a PERSONAL CHOICE...and one to which I am entitled, at that.   
     And strangely enough, I am grateful to the LGBT community in Connecticut, New York and surrounding area and especially to those few of you whom I call 'gay bullies':
     You have made me more aware.
     You have blessed me and you have freed me. 
     You have solidified my work and my faith and I am grateful for all that you have done.
     Now I only wish that we could 'work together' in true honesty, without the games and subterfuge.

     People of good faith pray at all times and in all ways that God's Will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.

     Today May 2, 2011, Osama Bin Laden was killed and we pray that the world will be a better and safer place henceforth because of it.

     We are grateful to our United States Navy SEALS, USAF and all service members who supported this effort, and we thank them.

     We thank our US Army for 'boots on the ground' here and abroad, serving all Americans.

     And we thank our US Coast Guard and the Seabees for protecting all waters, domestic and foreign.

      President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney deserve our thank-yous for their efforts, as do all those in leadership positions during the last difficult decade in American history, including those of President Obama, if only recently.

      Finally, but not least, we thank our brave CIA and  United States Marine Corps for not only fighting in  Iraq and Afghanistan, but for also faithfully discharging their interminably thankless duties at GITMO.

      I know of many of the travails you suffered and still suffer from there in that God-forsaken tropical hell from irascible 'detainees' intent upon harming the free world.

Dear Ones:
     Well, I searched for it and here is a link on the TSA website which states that you have every RIGHT to ask TSA Officers to change their gloves when they touch your person and your property.
"You have the right to ask a Security Officer to change her/his gloves during the physical inspection of your accessible property, before performing a physical search (pat-down,) or any time a Security Officer handles your footwear."

     Regular 'glove changes' are prudent for travelers and TSA Officers alike.
     The only caveat is that since the gloves only cover up to the wrist, it is important to realize that any 'exudates', weeping/oozing fluids, bacteria, viruses, protozoans and so forth entrapped on the sleeves and other uniform parts of the TSA Officers (and on their bare skin for those wearing short sleeves) STILL HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO CAUSE PROBLEMS FOR YOU.
     Should any of the above contaminate you via the TSA Officer's clothes, you may be at risk, especially, should the contaminated uniform make contact with your eyes, mouth, nose, ears, broken skin, mucous membranes, 'rashy areas' and other 'areas'.
     Many microbes can live for an amazingly long time on so-called 'non-living surfaces' like clothing, pens, communication devices, clipboards, 'wands' and all the other items TSA Officers are likely to use when examining you.
     And the contamination potential can be even WORSE when the TSA Agent has bare arms which can carry not only fellow travelers' contamination, but his or her OWN population of bio-organisms, both pathogenic and non-pathogenic, as well!

TSA Pat-Down

     DON'T BE SHY!  ASK FOR A GLOVE CHANGE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
--before anyone handles and inspects your carry-ons
--after anyone handles your shoes and intends to continue
--after a TSA Officer touches their face/nose/mouth/ears/hair or anywhere else on their own body
--after anyone sneezes and/or coughs and/or has a runny nose and/or drools or 'splatters saliva while speaking' during your pat-down
--after a cast or brace is 'swabbed for explosives'.  It is virtually impossible to keep a cast or brace absolutely sterile and the swabbing procedure is essentially a 'microbe-collecting procedure' which will contaminate the TSA Officer's gloves no matter what he or she does.
--any time you feel uncomfortable with sanitation levels during your pat-down.
     Of course, these suggestions are as much for the benefit of the TSA Officers as they are for the traveling public.
     In an ideal world, TSA Officer's would be provided with new, clean disposable cover-ups and multiple sets of gloves for each and every passenger.
     If it were up to me, they would wear face masks, as well.
     But as it stands now, I suppose it will be necessary for some sort of airport and travel-related epidemic to break out before those safe-guards are in place.

     I also have a word or two for those with allergies.  Certainly, latex gloves themselves have a high allergenic potential for some people. 
     Please be sure to carry a note from your health care provider IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO LATEX and request the use of NON-LATEX GLOVES by any TSA Officers patting you down and touching your property.
     For those of you allergic to strong scents, be sure to request a 'glove change' whenever you suspect that a TSA Officer's gloves are contaminated with perfume or any other highly odoriferous substance.
      If the TSA Officer themselves has any overpowering odors themselves which are likely to aggravate your allergies, you may have to ask for a 'TSA Officer change', as well! 
    I imagine TSA Officers are counseled to not wear strong fragrance, etc and if not, they should be. 
     But in the course of the day, it is pretty likely that something or other from some one's Dopp kit will spill on a TSA Officer's clothing or work area, so you must be prepared to advocate for yourself if you or your loved ones have allergies.
