     Well, I don't know about any 'major' Muslim leaders, but I count one Muslim 'group' 'locally', at least, who has spoken up against the horrendous anti-American violence flaring up in the Middle East and all over the world.
     That 'one group' is 'The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut'.  I thank them for speaking forth:

     This is a good start."  But things have been largely silent about anything remotely related to caring about the United States of America, let alone non-Muslims in general.
     American Muslims are as silent as they have been since 9/11.  Except to attend a few 'interfaith Iftars' here and there, there is nothing.
     They offer no real words of sympathy for the American lives lost due to Muslim extremists.

     We stand solemnly...hands over our hearts (well, most of us, anyway)...as we sing our beloved National Anthem 'The Star-Spangled Banner'.
     It is Memorial Day and we honor military service members who have died for our country.  
     Nary a dry eye will be found amongst  'those who truly care' about the United States of America and let those who feel otherwise while enjoying the benefits of America be but 'objects of their own shame'.
     For this is a time of reflection and communion for the rest of us. 
     It is a time to cling to the good and pray for those who loved liberty enough to have died for it.
     It is a time to memorialize those who fought for us so that we may live in freedom and thus we pray:
"Heavenly Father, hear our prayers:
We pray for those who have fought and died for us.
Is it possible that You might let them know just how grateful we are?
We remember their sacrifice and we are humbled.
We pray that we are worthy of enjoying the liberty and freedom they have presented to us.
Instill in us right-minded hearts and make us 'deserving', Lord.
Lead us to similar service for the betterment of others,
Known to care and ever-caring,

 Dear Ones:

     People of good faith pray at all times and in all ways that God's Will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.

     Today May 2, 2011, Osama Bin Laden was killed and we pray that the world will be a better and safer place henceforth because of it.

     We are grateful to our United States Navy SEALS, USAF and all service members who supported this effort, and we thank them.

     We thank our US Army for 'boots on the ground' here and abroad, serving all Americans.

     And we thank our US Coast Guard and the Seabees for protecting all waters, domestic and foreign.

      President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney deserve our thank-yous for their efforts, as do all those in leadership positions during the last difficult decade in American history, including those of President Obama, if only recently.

      Finally, but not least, we thank our brave CIA and  United States Marine Corps for not only fighting in  Iraq and Afghanistan, but for also faithfully discharging their interminably thankless duties at GITMO.

      I know of many of the travails you suffered and still suffer from there in that God-forsaken tropical hell from irascible 'detainees' intent upon harming the free world.

     But you've 'hung in there'.  You've persevered despite calls from the world...and even from fellow Americans...to 'scrap Guantanamo'.

     Now it turns out that your efforts have reaped great intel which has been instrumental in bringing a global villain to justice.

     "OOH-RAH", is all I can say, for your sustained dedication to us over all these years.

    May you all those listed above be ever-strengthened and encouraged by the Lord, Himself, during these days and in the difficult ones to come.

"After viewing the videos at my request last night, Dr. Arthur Derse called me up exclaiming, “Holy mackerel! It’s much worse than it looked in the paper. I’m stunned, absolutely stunned.” Dr. Derse is the Director of Center for Bioethics and Medical Humanities a the Medical College of Wisconsin. “When all’s said and done, it’s really the profession of medicine that has the black eye in this case,” he says.

There is no question these doctors are masking political opinion in the white coat of the medical profession, Dr. Derse believes. “The videos are pretty damning.”

It’s sad, but what puzzles me most is how in the world three of the four physicians I can identify from these videos and other media reports are faculty members of UW’s Family Medicine department, and one is a senior resident in that same department. It’s a good training program, committed to providing sorely-needed primary care doctors to the state of Wisconsin. It teaches professionalism, and its faculty are supposed to model integrity. What were they thinking?

They’ve managed to belittle a public trust between physicians, employers and patients. A doctor’s sick note is a serious document. It represents an employer’s desire to verify through a respected, independent, medically qualified third party the fact of an illness and the true need for convalescence. In the videos now circulating online, we witness multiple members of a noted family medicine department trash one of the well-recognized rights and privileges of their profession, with little forethought as to the consequences."

Armed Gangs Free Muslim Militants in Egypt January 30, 2011  Associated Press

CAIRO -- Gangs of armed men attacked at least four jails across Egypt before dawn Sunday, helping to free hundreds of Muslim militants and thousands of other inmates as police vanished from the streets of Cairo and other cities.


The U.S. Embassy in Cairo told its citizens in Egypt to consider leaving the country as soon as possible, a display of Washington's escalating concern about the stability of its closest Arab ally.


The army sent hundreds more troops and armored vehicles onto the streets of Cairo and other cities but appeared to be taking little action against gangs of young men with guns and large sticks who were smashing cars and robbing people.


At least one Nile-side shopping mall in Cairo was on fire after being looted the previous day.

But first a moment of prayer for US Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims and their loved ones....
A senseless act of violence was committed. Too many wish this to become vitriolic political theater. As Tea Party Patriots, we are all leaders of the 2nd peaceful American Revolution that is underway. I pray for calm. An American first I am.

9 Special Elections on February 22nd!

8 democrats retire, 1 gets arrested= 9 special elections and a tea party second chance

The following State Rep and State Senate Districts will have special elections on February 22nd to fill vacancies:
Senate district 6, covering Berlin, New Britain, and part of Farmington;

Senate district 13, covering Meriden, Middlefield, and parts of Cheshire and Middletown;

Senate district 27, covering parts of Darien and Stamford;

House district 20, covering part of West Hartford;

House district 25, covering part of New Britain;

House district 36, covering the towns of Chester, Deep River, Essex and Haddam;

House district 99, covering part of East Haven;

House district 101, covering the town of Madison and part of Guilford;

House district 126, covering part of Bridgeport.
What YOU can do:
1) Help nominate the conservative candidate: The parties have until January 18th to endorse their candidates for the special election. They are going to have caucuses. If you live in one of these towns, contact your Town Committee, any registered member of the party (Republican or Democrat) can vote in that party's caucus. You do NOT need to be a member of the Town Committee to vote in the caucus. If you need your Town Committee Chairman contact information, click here to email me.

2) Volunteer: Special elections are all about turnout. Each campaign is going to need help knocking on doors, making phone calls and getting people to the polls. Plan now to take February 22nd off from work. Even though the 6 House and 3 Senate races may not be in your town, a statewide effort from all tea party people is going to be needed.

3) Donate: Each candidate will still need to raise money in order to qualify for public financing (or, if they are not taking public money, even more so) and there will be a very short period of time to raise the money. Set aside $5, $10, $25, $50 or even $100 now so you are ready to donate. Once the candidates are in place and donation websites are up and running, I will send links for each of them.

Hello, this is Sgt Major Luke Converse. I am the Battalion Sergeant Major for the 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, currently deployed to Afghanistan. The Marines are doing some tremendous work over here. They are living rough, basically out of their LAV’s for the most part and are taking the fight to the Taliban. I have been in the Corps for 24 years and still marvel at Marines in combat. They are definitely living up to their legacy.

The Marines are in need of a lot of basic toiletry items. We are at the end of the line logistically, so they start to run out of things like soap, razors, socks are worth their weight in gold- simple cotton tube socks- (over the calf type) The Marines are on the go, it is incredibly hot and they packed lots of socks, but we have trouble with water to wash them, and then we seldom slow down… Baby wipes are also a hot commodity- we never have enough of them. Because we are geographically remote… we don’t have access to a PX where they can purchase these items on their own.

I greatly appreciate anything you can do for the Marines. I have 400 from my bn and another 150 in attachments- anything you can send to me will be given to the Marines via their company 1st sgts…

I am praying that 'GOOD CONNECTICUT DEMOCRATS' step up to the plate and defend TRUTH & HONESTY in the recent MID-TERM ELECTIONS. 

Surely some CT Dems ARE NOT going to DEFEND VOTER FRAUD...are they?  Surely some 'GOOD' Connecticut Democrats WILL fight against VOTER FRAUD as it is uncovered, WON'T THEY?

Surely some RIGHTEOUS CT DEMOCRATS will wish to know that their (our) Governor was DULY ELECTED...Right?  Isn't that what we ALL want?

Surely NANCY DINARDO, CHAIRWOMAN of The CONNECTICUT DEMOCRATIC PARTY is 'exquisitely interested' in getting to the bottom of the Connecticut Gubernatorial race brouhaha with it's growing allegations of VOTER FRAUD having been perpetuated by DEMS (allegedly, of course)...........ISN'T SHE?

NANCY D. where are you?  This PROUD TEA PARTY PATRIOT sure would like to KNOW!  We should keep those who respect God and man's law (imperfect though the latter is) in STRONG PRAYER at this time in Connecticut's history.

It's too bad that 'The Nutmeg State' has been a 'hub' of major Progressive-Lib Dem 'machinations' for many years now.

Dear Readers:
     What a day...what a night...what an election, yesterday! 
     My very first foray into 'political activism' culminated in an abysmal loss for TEA PARTY-endorsed candidates in Connecticut, but not elsewhere.  Nationally, we had A BIG WIN!  So all-in-all it was a terrific day!
     From Day 1, we knew that Connecticut would be a 'tough nutmeg to crack'.  Considering how 'miserably marginal' many of the Progressive-Lib Dems' 'wins' were, I'd say we've made major progress nationally even in uber-liberal areas, so it's all good!
     Poor President Obama, tail between his legs, tried to 'reach out' as he hasn't before.  The guy looks relieved, truth to tell, like someone who is almost glad that he can acknowledge he's 'in over his head'.
     And no doubt, our President is surrounded by synchophants who are ALSO IN OVER THEIR heads--like the Election officials in Bridgeport, Connecticut!
     Hard as it is to believe, these people failed to have a sufficient number of ballots for registered voters yesterday!   Surely, these incompetents leave the following questions to be answered:
     Why were so few ballots ordered, as claimed? 
     Who came up with the original 'order number' and how did they come up with it?
     Were so few ballots actually ordered or is that just the claim? 
     If the full amount of ballots were ordered, was the surplus hidden or stored and if so, where...or were they destroyed?
     Were so few ballots DELIBERATELY ordered so as to create an irregularity at Bridgeport voting places?
     Were any of the 'photocopied emergency ballots' pre-marked and if so, by whom and when and where?
     Who are those responsible for the dearth of ballots?  What are their political affiliations?  Who are they working for?
     When was the ballot-shortage discovered?  Was it acted upon promptly?
     Obviously this is not a comprehensive list of questions, but perhaps Bridgeport Mayor Bill Finch will step up to the plate and initiate a thorough and ethical investigation.
     Yesterday was interesting in Stamford, too.  For the first time ever, I served as a 'Runner' at a local polling place.  A 'Runner' is legally designated to 'collect data from a polling place'.
      My little BlackBerry in hand, I essentially entered voter numbers all day long.  I found many discrepancies, inconsistencies and inaccuracies, which I cannot discuss here. 
     It is any one's guess what these discrepancies, inaccuracies and inconsistencies mean, but better brains than my own will be looking into all of them.
     I'm 'good' with bulk data because I enjoy handling it.  And I enjoy the 'pressure to perform' for a good cause.  Still, my responsibility was only to cross names off a list of registered voters.   But little did I know that my 'exercise' was destined to turn into much more.
     Within two hours of the beginning of my data collection, the 'BIG BOOK LADY' balked at the Moderator asking her to 'check things' at my request regarding the 'discrepancies, inaccuracies and inconsistencies' I refer to above.    
     After a lengthy discussion, I was told that it was 'no one's province' to provide any clarification of the input data they were obliged by law to provide to 'us', or to 'me in particular', as an official 'runner'.
     I don't know if that's true, but it was 'slow' at the time and it would have been a simple matter to look up a few more numbers and names for me so that my records could be reconciled...and so I would 'shut up'.
     In no uncertain terms, the 'BIG BOOK LADY' let me know that I was annoying her.
     Yep, the 'BIG BOOK LADY' and her cohorts were clearly not going to be bothered, whereupon two hours into my endeavor, I simply declared, "OKAY, I'll collect my slips, enter what I can and in the case of more than one voter for a number, enter the FIRST-alphabetically-by default-and let it all be examined afterwards."
     And that's precisely what I did until 8:00 pm when the polls closed.  A colleague of mine who monitored the situation first hand the entire time argued about 'it not doing any good after the fact' (to reconcile the data).  How true, how true.
     But as a 'Runner' and a 'political newbie', I decided to just collect my data like a good girl and let the waves roll as they may afterwards.
     By the end of the day, the 'BIG BOOK LADY' and her cohorts wouldn't even talk to me.  So much for our political officials being unbiased and non-partisan. 
     It would have been so easy to take a few moments to help reconcile some data, but no, there was no interest in doing that.  In all fairness I have to say that the Moderator under whom I worked at my assigned polling place is a good guy.  He did his best to accommodate me, at first, with understanding for the need to answer my questions. 
     But, alas, the Moderator, too, was subject to the vagaries of the 'BIG BOOK LADY' and I easily decided to not make the fellow's life any more difficult than it already was.
     This is only politics, after all.
     I'm sure you readers can appreciate the irony, then, that I was subjected to having just dealt with 'THE BIG BOOK LADY' and her cronies as I drove over to the Foley Event at the Greenwich Hyatt on election night.  It was then that I got my first hint of the problems in Bridgeport with their apparent 'shortage of paper ballots' in a radio report. 
     As I drove along, I heard that many polling places in Bridgeport were going to stay open until 10:00 pm.  I wondered 'how the heck this ballot shortage could happen?' but after what I'd witnessed first-hand here in Stamford, I really was not at all surprised about the Bridgeport situation.
     Sure people deserve to vote.  But any 'Registrar of Voters' who screws up THAT badly is suspect in my book.  Lack of cooperation, partisanship and 'dislike' of others not like themselves is something I understand about election officials and accept it for what it is.  But the Bridgeport situation  is a whole different kettle of fish. 
     The TEA PARTY lost big in Connecticut, but nationally we kicked butt.  Reports at this moment state that "Dannel Malloy is the winner in the CT Gubernatorial Race and a recount will not be necessary".
     It's good to know that the Progressive-Lib Dems have such a superior knowledge about 'what will or will not need to be recounted', even before the final count is actually completed.  Is this 'super-intelligent and legitimate data handling', 'wishful thinking' or 'something else'?
     Do we have the right to ask such questions or will the 'Lady with the 'Big Book' once again ball her pudgy little hands into tight fists saying  "ENOUGH!  IT'S NOT MY JOB!".  Will the CT Secretary of State tell us the WE ARE NOT ALLOWED A RECOUNT?  Will the MALLOY CAMPAIGN stand in the way of one?  Will we be told to GO AWAY?   
     Well, we're NOT going away.  We HAVE taken over the house.  Things WILL be different nationally and locally.  We won BIG this election cycle and it WAS a referendum on President Obama and the Democrats.  Best of all WE FIRED NANCY PELOSI! YAY!!!!!!!!
     But Connecticut is Connecticut, after all, and that means it's 'Progressive-Lib-ville' and will stay so for a while it seems.  But that's okay because 2012 is around the corner.
     I hope Dannel Malloy enjoys his marginal 'win'...if it is a win at the end of the sure-to-come investigative process' and I hope the Progressive-Lib Dems are proud of themselves. 
     They did it!  They rule the teeney 'Nutmeg Isle' and I suggest their first order of business after their gloating settles down be the installation of a 'TEA PARTY REPUBLICAN TSUNAMI WARNING SYSTEM'.
     They'll need it starting immediately and especially for 2012.  They'll never get it up in time with their organizational paradigm, but it will be interesting to watch them try.  Sad for them that the Democrats are brutally DIVIDED in Connecticut as they are all over the U.S.A.
     We all know that 'a house divided against itself will not stand'.
     And if the MALLOY CAMP has any class at all, it will be DEMANDING A RECOUNT themselves, though I won't hold my breath for that likely non-eventuality. 
     Maybe I'm naive, but I would want to know that the candidate I supported won 'fair and square'.  'What say you, Malloy supporters?'
     Anyway, yesterday provided me with a great costume idea for Halloween.  Next year I'll have a new costume that is destined to scare adults and kids alike when I dress up as 'THE BIG BOOK LADY'!
     My white knuckled fists clenched in defiance, I will scare the DICKENS out of young and old alike!
     Aaarrrrgggggghhhhh!  HERE SHE COMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I pray that God will Bless All our duly Elected Officials, our Candidates, their teams, the electorate and the constituency.  In short-

We TEA PARTY PATRIOTS are NOT going down the 'same old road' again this election cycle!
Dear Readers:
     You want to see what a person is like? Study him/her when he/she is down and out and losing.  That will tell you something. 
     And if you want to know the REAL character of a person, check them out when they are VICTORIOUS...when they are 'on top' and when they have WON!
     It is then and only then that one can get a 'true vision' of a 'person's inner and outer 'worth'. I'm cognizant of it this political season as we TEA PARTY PATRIOTS anticipate not just 'a win' this election cycle...but something of a LANDSLIDE!

     'Yah-HOOOO!!!', I'm already saying in private as I do my own version of 'the happy dance'.  But as I tell others, "This is no time to let down our guard...to put all our eggs in one basket and to take ANYTHING for granted".
     But I do know that we TEA PARTY PATRIOTS are on THE ROAD TO VICTORY.  As you may or may not know or believe, we support candidates from all parties, so I cannot say that we expect only A REPUBLICAN VICTORY...Oh...GEE WHO AM I KIDDING?-OF COURSE WE EXPECT A REPUBLICAN TAKE-OVER and I say that as an 'Independent'.
     But I do digress.  I feel strongly and I do pray that we can be gracious, bipartisan and transparent in our VICTORY in a way that the American people have not seen in politics for many years now.
     I don't want TEA PARTY PATRIOTS to 'gloat'.
     I don't want TEA PARTY PATRIOTS to 'laud it all over the losers whose time has come to an end'.
     I don't want TEA PARTY PATRIOTS to 'whine' about whatever small losses we may temporarily sustain, because IT JUST DOESN'T LOOK GOOD and it sure isn't 'nice'.
     People will be looking to JOIN US after Nov 2 in anticipation of 2012.  We must maintain ourselves with the dignity we have become known for.
     In a few short days, we will witness  the only 'real' CHANGE we can really believe in and I pray that we can be gracious in our victory. 
     What I mean by 'we' is actually the Republicans, of course, with whom I will be SITTING WITH IN THE BACK OF THE BUS/ROOM, as President Obama has publicly and so insensitively dictated recently. 
     Why I'll happily take my place SEGREGATED IN THE BACK along the REPUBLICANS and the innumerable Independents like myself.  A 'slave should obey her master', as the Bible says, after all and I, of all people am well-acquainted with the dynamic in play here.
     This 2010 election--especially 'locally' in pathologically-Progressive Lib Dem Connecticut--is but a staging ground for the 2012 General Election.
     November 2, 2010 for the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS such as myself is 'a dry run' as we 'GET OUT THE VOTE', CAMPAIGN and fight against an AMERICAN ABOMINATION.

     Yes, it does, for that is when multiples of early-voting forms from the last election were found to be written by single individuals (as determined by handwriting analysis) for DEAD PEOPLE, DISNEY CHARACTERS and innumerable 'JOHNSONS' and 'SMITHS'.

     TEA PARTY PATRIOTS and our allies have had extensive EXPERT training on how to detect, deal with and counter VOTER FRAUD.  Yes, we have.  And we paid attention.  And we're volunteering with 'feet on the ground' to make sure that cheats don't 'get away with anything' again!
     Actual DNA analysis is being conducted and WILL be conducted this election cycle to ferret out voter fraud.  You watch 'CSI', don't you?  Well those very sophisticated investigative techniques are and will be used to discover forgeries and duplicitous balloting.  Your fingerprints will be 'captured' (simple gloves won't work) and be put on file, and identified if they're already on file.  Isn't science great?

"ABOVE is The WRONG Way to GET OUT THE VOTE!"

     What I am trying to tell you is that you commit VOTER FRAUD at your own peril.  You will be found and you will get into TROUBLE.  Whether you're 'garnering votes with pre-loaded cash cards', 'bullying', filling out fake ballots, manipulating data or whatever...YOU WILL BE FOUND OUT!
     Should the CHEATS go ahead and try to do what they did in previous elections, we are mobilized to action.  We're ready, we're waiting and we're prepared for you and assure you that you won't get away with wholesale VOTER FRAUD ever again.
     We expect a LANDSLIDE this go-round, reflective of a referendum on President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.  And we are going to achieve it legally and fairly.
      But this is 'only politics'.  We should keep our noses to the grindstone, vote fairly and appreciate our American system of 'checks and balances' at work. 
     God forbid the doctrine of 'separation of church and state' should be crossed, an individuals rights should be violated or someone should be discriminated against this election cycle even as we TEA PARTY PATRIOTS prepare for a STUNNING VICTORY.
