It is the link to the Sanford P.D., where you can read/listen to everything from 911 calls to eye-witness accounts.  Intelligent people everywhere actually have an opportunity to examine some actual EVIDENCE in forming their opinions in this case, IF they choose to do so.

 

Naysayers will no-doubt opine of a lack of confidence in anything the Sanford P.D. provides, but the evidence speaks for itself.

  

We must reject prejudice and conjecture.  Most especially, decent persons would do well to avoid any and all particularly vicious forms of 'hate-mongering' as by those who seek to promote racially-motivated violence.

As my heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of Trayvon Martin, so do they go out to the family and friends of George Zimmerman.

     Oh...the shouts and CRIES FOR JUSTICE rang loud and clear!
     Nary a Progressive Lib Dem in the Tri-State area didn't have a strong and vibrant ABSOLUTE OPINION that poor single mother Tanya McDowell was but a woman desperate to make a better life for her child.
     No need to investigate anything...just 'let her' get away with ripping the system off for a very expensive education she HAD NO BONA FIDE RESIDENCY RIGHTS TO!
     Nuff said in 'liberal Connecticut'!
     Now we average people are busy scraping it together to get all our kids their educations and health care with virtually no help from 'the government'.

     So imagine our consternation to be reminded once again that there is a certain class of persons who--by the very essence of the fact that they are 'endorsed' by people like the Rev. Al Sharpton--are deemed to DESERVE SPECIAL TREATMENT.

     Oh, the liberals in CT shouted that 'rally cry' for poor mother Tanya McDowell and her son.
     Oh, how ready all of Rev. Al's sycophants were to not only SUPPORT this apparent 'theft of educational services', but to declare that Tanya is but a VICTIM, worthy of any and everything she should desire.

     We heard this from individuals.  We heard this from the press in their endless 'editorials' admonishing 'anyone not like themselves' (i.e. conservatives) just how 'in charge' of things they are.
     HOW DARE ANYONE NOT SANCTION WHAT THIS 'POOR MOTHER' DID?
     We were reminded that the Progressive Libs of NY and CT have every intention of doing things their way or the highway...their 'way' being the 'high road of moral superiority'.

     This has been the 'game' around liberal CT for so long that many of us are virtually IMMUNE to the 'outrage' INJUSTICES SUCH AS THIS would engender in a 'normal person'.
     We've come to accept that this is the way it is, starting in Hartford, and that Connecticut is the 'land of the lost' when it comes to moral and ethical direction.
     And the 'Tanya McDowell' situation is but one more reason why the TEA PARTY PATRIOT movement in CT is gaining more and more members, momentum and determination, for those who do not wish to consign their children and grandchildren to this 'status quo'!
     I've understood the 'dynamics' in CT for three decades now and have opined before on my history of 'civil rights' work all through my life up until this 'new age' of 'retribution and pay-back'.
     I cannot tell a lie and I cannot bear false witness.  I cannot endorse what I feel in my soul to be an injustice.  I will not champion one 'group' while vilifying another.  
     And I won't be burdened with pseudo-guilt for something I am not responsible for.
     My philosophy of old age is, "It is what it is and why bother balking the majority while I am clearly in the minority?
     I can 'live and let live', fully satisfied that the Lord knows TRUE JUSTICE better than any of us humans can even pretend to comprehend-- a philosophy which has allowed situations like that of Rev. Al and the NAACP and Mom Tanya flourish unchallenged for quite some time now.
      ...Until a few 'little things' FLARED UP, that is.
     A big OOPSIE occurred for those who championed the cause of Tanya McDowell.
     She was NOT what she pretended to be.  She was NOT an otherwise law-abiding citizen who in one moment of 'desperation' decided to 'steal' an education for her child.
     No.  She was doing some really bad things and actively 'engaged her son' in scenarios revolving around her 'activities' and 'habits'.

     I don't know about Progressive Libs, but as a rule, I do not believe it is in a child's best interest to have him or her around crack cocaine, marijuana, pimps and prostitutes.
     So trying to make a 'federal case' over her child's education seems a little opportunistic--even for the likes of the NAACP and Sharpton.
     It is my opinion that the ONLY victim here is Tanya McDowell's poor little son...and that for having a crook for a mother who is being supported and enabled by a majority population in CT, that majority being the Progressive Libs.
     But ultimately, these Progressive Libs will be forced to deal with their own inability--in their 'altruistic zeal'--to recognize 'worthy causes' from 'non-worthy causes'.
     And I'm not speaking of what MAN OR WOMAN deems to be worthy, but rather what is worthy in the eyes of the Lord.
     Progressive Libs--like the rest of us--will be held accountable for our thoughts, deeds, words and actions.
     As usual, I expect the NAACP and the Rev. Al Sharptons of the world to dig their heels in and justify their 'Tanya-McDowell-and-Tawana-Brawley-MOMENTS' as examples of RACISM and moan about all sorts of 'victimhood' at the hands of whoever their latest 'villain' is.
     So I have some advice for them:
     Save you breath.  We've heard it before a thousand times to the point of boredom.
      Do a mea culpa if you have the strength of will and moral turpitude to do so.  It'll be good for your soul.
     The very essence of 'the Connecticut paradigm' is a disturbing one, for those looking from the outside 'in'. 
     This is a state which finds itself  awash with skewed 'justice', racial inequality, confounded and spurious 'law making' (or attempts of the same) which is causing honest, tax-paying CT citizens a fortune.
     Businesses are rightfully fleeing this state in view of what they see around them and because of punitive taxes intended to punish them for 'having been too successful'.
     Local governments in Stamford are rift with charges of corruption and Bridgeport is awash with claims of 'voter fraud'.

Dear Ones:
     By now you may have read about my 'history' with the UCC (United Church of Christ) and my rude awakening to the political machinations of this and other 'liberal, progressive churches'.  President Obama, proud member of Reverend Jeremiah Wright's Chicago Trinity UCC, boldly kicked off his Presidential Campaign at The UCC Synod in June 2007 in Hartford, CT.  As a publicly 'apolitical' person, I didn't like what I witnessed happening  in a so-called church venue.  I've had liberal-progressive politics shoved in my face before, but this was different...and it was serious. 
     Was I surprised at the campaign kick-off in a church setting?  No.  Was I displeased with the reaction church officials had to those who were not quite on board with their 'radical liberal politics'?  You betchya!  Not only was the line between 'church and state' obliterated, but the treatment of anyone such as myself,  'not on board with the UCC's political agenda', was akin to the treatment of a leper!
     Ironically, that, too, was fine with me.  My Lord and Savior preferred the company of lepers, as it  happens.  What he DIDN'T actively seek out to join were the lawmakers, the rulers, the royalty, the politicians and all the other power-brokers of the day!  Jesus did his 'rebuking' and moved on.  And, as if to prove my point, even President Obama, himself, fled the affiliation of Jeremiah Wright...or so he said.  Then President Obama fled the UCC entirely, with a 'wink and a nod', knowing that that political strategy was a 'no-go'.  The man is nothing if not pragmatic.
     This treatise is my long-winded way of saying that I DO NOT SUPPORT and AM OPPOSED TO the HEALTHCARE REFORM LEGISLATION as it is proposed.  The current bill is immoral in my opinion and crafted to foist upon the ignorant a manner of LEGISLATIVE ENSLAVEMENT that is anathema to the very tenets upon which these fine United States of America were founded.
     As I've said many times: I am no political whizz.  So I will let others with a greater familiarity with base politics be my mouthpiece when it comes to specifics of argument regarding Healthcare Reform.  I may be ignorant of legislative procedures, but I am not stupid.  My political phoenix within has awakened and I'm on guard.
     I can discern between what holds for 'the greater good' and what serves to prop up an elitist 'take' on 'AMERICAN ENTITLEMENT'.  I know when legislators are interested in self-aggrandizement with no regard for those who will bear the costs and burdens of what they intend to leave behind.  Below is a fine one discussion of one duplicity that is going on in Washington, D.C. right under our noses, by those who think we are too stupid, too apolitical, too busy, to distracted to realize it.
     Well, this lady has 'caught on' and she's realizing a lot of things.  This current liberal-progressive Dems healthcare bill is the "TAWANA BRAWLEY' of Healthcare Reform and just as dishonest.

Yesterday, the House Of Representatives Budget Committee voted to pass President Obama's healthcare reform package through the reconciliation process by a vote of 21 to 16. Two Democrats and all 14 Republicans on the committee voted against the measure. Are you kidding me? This bill is not even the real bill, it is a decoy bill that will be replaced by the real legislation at a later time. A new Rasmussen poll shows that only 43 percent of Americans favor government run healthcare, but 53 percent of Americans oppose Obamacare. If the Democrats ram this down our throats this spring and pass this legislation without the consent of the American majority. They will be walking the plank this November and forfeiting their political careers. The Democrats are ignoring their fellow Blue Dog Democrats, they are ignoring the Republicans, and they are ignoring the American voters they are supposed to represent. President Obama tells us how important this legislation is, but he is adding new amendments and pushing the bill through both houses of Congress so fast that nobody has time to read it. The actual legislation might not have the public option or government funded abortion, but it will create new unnecessary taxes and expand the size of the federal government. Once they get this bill passed and into effect, they will use the slightest excuse (or crisis) to add the public option later. We must vote every single Representative who votes for this disaster out of office.

REVEREND CARI JACKSON STRIKES AGAIN AT FCC STAMFORD By Reverend Barbara Sexton

If I didn't KNOW any better, I would swear that Reverend Cari Jackson, a black lesbian who is Senior Pastor of FCC Stamford, is hell-bent on initiating her very polarizing political adenda no matter what! (Google her if you are interested!) I am referring to today's 'vote' to perform gay marriages in the church's sanctuary.....a vote taken with most of the church's long-term members absent and/or not even consulted.

The First Congregational Church of Stamford is in dire financial straits at this point, which is no surprise. I don't imagine today's vote helping any, unless some reaaaaal rich liberals who are not reaaaal Christians pony up and help bail the place out. Many members with questions and dissenting opinions have been made to feel most unwelcome, as those with opinions contrary to the UCC-Mantras will find out should they choose to get involved in this mess.

As for those of us who have been thus marginalized by this "Open and Affirming" church, I say 'Mazel Tov'. Good luck to them, and let the rest of us 'move on' and away from the church that even President Obama himself ran from...and the church that brought forth the likes of Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Father Flager, and Rev Otis Moss. I regret that I had such a strong hand in facilitating civil rights for gays/GLBT as I have for all minorities, since things ended up as bad as they have in the United Church of Christ. But I guess that was my role in this, "The Pilgrim Church", gathered in 1635, where the "first Thanksgiving" was held. I am one stupid woman to believe that it really is 'open and affirming'.

It's has turned into something I do not recognize.

I wonder what the Holy Spirit has in store for us next?
