Dear Ones:
      When it comes to 'predicting things about the world', humans are as accurate as believers can be when it comes to predicting the 'timeline' regarding 'end times'--meaning not very.
      Still, we like to think we can 'know'.
      But the Lord tells us very explicitly:
The Demand for a Sign
1 The Pharisees and Sadducees came to Jesus and tested him by asking him to show them a sign from heaven.
2 He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.[a] 4 A wicked and adulterous generation looks for a sign, but none will be given it except the sign of Jonah.” Jesus then left them and went away.      The passage above would tell us that while humans can glean the weather from various indicators, we are not to presume to understand God's 'Timeline' for us, plain and simple.
     So let's stick here with what we have been blessed to reasonably understand from 'observation, data collection, analysis and interpretation', i.e. from 'science'...and let God 'speak to our hearts' on other matters!
     The sun has been undergoing a week of instability.  In fact, it is unusually 'active' and the energy thrown off by the sun is currently, meaning 'now', affecting the earth in profound ways.
     These profound ways include the possibilities of severe weather with winds, rain, hail, tornadoes, lightning, thunder, mudslides, wildfires and the like.
     The sun in it's instability is also generating a great deal of 'magnetic field energy' which manifests itself on and in the earth, as well as in 'space'.

     Those of you who have been following along with my 'Tutorials' (click on this keyword below) realize that a solar situation such as this is a sure set-up for unstable earth weather.

     And, unfortunately for those places like ARKANSAS which has been experiencing a great number of earthquakes recently, this is a time to be vigilant.

     In OHIO and other 'flood areas', Geomagnetic storms only make matters worse.

     Note that at this time as this is being published, the arrow indicating the direction this energy is 'taking' is currently directed towards the Northeast of the United States.

     Shortly, it will be directed towards OHIO, thus intensifying whatever severe weather and geophysical events are occurring there.

     I urge those in 'danger areas' to be aware of the dynamics in play here.   Please get yourselves and your loved ones to safety, as needed.

     Unfortunately, your local public safety officials will not necessarily be forthcoming with the information I am presenting here, if they have any access to it at all.

     Also, there is a large group of 'thinkers' who do not yet recognize the correlation between GEOMAGNETIC STORMS, such as the one we are experiencing the effects of today, and 'everyday' earth weather and geophysical disturbances.

     OHIO and ARKANSAS today in the U.S.A. should pay heed, as well as those all over the globe in problem areas.

Dear Ones All Over The World:
     I ask believers and non-believers alike to pray for the poor souls in NEW ZEALAND--in Christchurch, especially--who are suffering grief and loss at the hands of a devastating set of earthquakes.

Let us pray:

Dear God:

The world comes to you right now, with tearful prayers of supplication that you somehow relieve the grievous suffering of people in New Zealand.

We ask that you alleviate their misery and uncertainty.

We ask that you make your Presence profoundly known to those who are trapped, dead and dying...

And to those who lay buried and injured as they await rescue.

Lord God, have mercy on rescue crews, emergency personnel, triage workers, medical staff, disaster response volunteers, social workers and clergy being called to action in this great catastrophe.

Lord God, have compassion for those who suffer the loss of loved ones, cruelly torn from them, at this time--those 'found' and those many more not yet found.

Only you Father can provide us with what we need to withstand the horror present today in New Zealand in the aftermath of these earthquake events.

You alone know the 'purpose' of such devastation, as we depend upon only our faith to sustain us.

We look forward to the day when there is no more suffering and crying and we pray that that day comes soon, Lord.

And we pray these things in our individual traditions, as best we are able...

Today's 6.6 Mag earthquake in Japan & elsewhere

Dear Ones:
     Yesterday I wrote a 'piece' on tornadoes attendant to energy from the sun reaching earth (as indicated by a rise in the Kp Index (the 'planetary K Index') and causing geomagnetic storm activity. LINK: http://dearoneshealingministry.blogspot.com/2010/11/about-tornadoes-today-by-reverend.html
     If you've been following my 'Tutorials', you know by now that energy from the sun can combine with the internal energy of the earth as well as with 'atmospheric energy' to produce: tornadoes, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, floods, storms, lightning, thunder, auroras and any number of observable earth weather phenomena.
     Today, we had a substantial 6.6 magnitude earthquake in Japan after 'yesterday's' USA tornadoes.  I thank God that engineers there have been able to design and construct 'earthquake-resistant' structures, since Japan is so seismically active.
     The details of this earthquake are as follows.

     The 'lesson' for today is this: yesterday's solar energy affecting the earth (as tornadoes across the USA) are TODAY also spawning some seismic activity, such as that in Japan.  Fortunately, this 6.6 quake was a 'deep one', at 478.3 km below the earth's surface.  As you will learn from my my Free 'Tutorials' (click below), 'the shallower the earthquake, the greater the potential for damage it has, in general'.
     It is almost impossible to precisely 'predict' when and where 'geomagnetic storm activity' on earth will manifest itself.  USUALLY, it takes 'a few days' for released solar flare energy to actually have an effect on our planet. 
     When and where this energy 'hits' is an imprecise science, at best.  We do well to observe all natural indicators (including animal behavior!) as we monitor our instrumentation.
     WE can learn to be on the ALERT when one of our NOAA or NASA sources indicates 'incoming energy' and attempt to anticipate how 'space weather' will be affecting our 'earth weather' via the 'geomagnetic storms' of movie fame...and which really do exist.
     Officials rarely want to 'alarm' anyone...even when they are giving the go-ahead to divulge an opinion.  Alas, by the time any 'official alerts' get to the public-at-large, it is often 'too late' for the masses to 'take action'.
     For this reason, I am encouraging all of you to take the sensible steps necessary to assure yourselves that (as long as you have computer access of some sort) that you are current with weather events.  This is especially important if you live in an earthquake-prone area or know someone who does.
     You owe it to yourselves and your families to take a few moments with my 'Tutorials.  You will quickly see the usefulness of the links and information I provide you with and that they are worth paying attention to.
     The 'scientist' in me is fascinated by today's technology even as the 'spiritual me' reaches out to the world in faith.

Dear Ones:
     You might be noting some 'extreme weather' in the form of tornadoes, etc., across the country today...or some 'other' day, for that matter. 
     I just want to point out that this correlates with some unstable 'space weather'...the energy of which is hitting the earth from the sun.
     Overall, our 'sun' is in what we call at a 'Solar Minimum'.  What this means is that while overall sun activity (in the form of solar flares and concurrent x-ray, electrical, proton, radio and other energy forms) occurs less frequently...the 'flare-ups' often stronger when they do occur.

     As I have detailed in my 'Tutorials' (click below), when solar energy from a solar eruption manages to hit our planet, it is manifested in many ways, such as earthquakes, storms, tornadoes, etc. 
     Don't forget that the earth, itself, is the source of energy from down below the earth's crust, all the way down to it's core.  This 'earth energy' can combine with the 'geomagnetic storm energy' from the sun, resulting in earthquakes and the 'geomagnetic storms' of movie fame.
     Sometimes there is a 'lag period' of several days before we 'notice' anything here...and sometimes there is hardly any lag period at all.  Many factors enter into play, as you will learn.

     Be sure to check NOAA's "Current Space Weather Warnings in effect" if you detect some foul weather coming your way so that you can judge for yourself how intense the activity might be for you and your loved ones locally.

     As you know, these last few days have been fraught with severe weather, earthquakes and a volcanic eruption on earth.  These are substantially 'due to' energy hitting the earth in various forms from 'space'.  Most of this energy is specifically from the sun.
     It takes, arguably, 3-5 days for rogue energy from the sun 'to hit earth'.   It is no easy task to accurately predict WHERE the energy hits at any given time, since our planet is in constant motion.  Above is a great LINK you can check to see what 'Space Weather Alerts and Warnings' are in effect as determined by NOAA , the Space Weather Prediction Center.

"Prelim 7.5 Indonesia Earthquake; Texas Tonadoes & Wyoming Quake" By Reverend Barbara Sexton "The Biblical Biochemist-Where Science Meets the Cross"

Dear Ones:
     Recently there has been a great deal of 'space weather' (solar activity, more specifically) which is affecting the earth.  The energy from the sun 'affects' us in the form of earthquakes, among other things, and a preliminary magnitude earthquake of 7.5 has hit Indonesia.
     Given that the USGS (U.S. Geological Survey) has determined a 'depth' of 14.2 km, this is a quake which could produce tsunami problems.  In general, the 'shallower the quake', the worse the surface damage.

You know what the above NOAA warnings chart means? It means you should look up at the sky tonight and tomorrow for a potential light show known as the 'aurora borealis' aka 'northern lights'.


There's been a massive CME (coronal mass ejection). This means that all the solar Tutorials I've tortured you with (if you played along) these many months have not been for naught. YOU will be able to astound your family and friends with your knowledge of a new solar 'age', a new 'solar cycle', if you will : )

For now, weather on earth will be wild as we experience the effects of geomagnetic and other disturbances from the sun.

     Just so you know, some in the space science community believe that we have entered a 'new solar cycle' of increased energy in, on, about and from the sun.   All of this has the potential to, and will likely, affect us here on earth.

Dear Ones:
     You've heard me repeatedly urge caution when it comes to eating certain seafood products, most notably RAW OYSTERS and other SHELL FISH.  Most recently my ongoing concern has been for norovirus in Mississippi and Louisiana oysters.  Here's the link: http://dearoneshealingministry.blogspot.com/2010/03/oyster-alert-miss-la-norovirus-posted.html 
     A little known fact that not many are familiar with is that this norovirus infection is highly contagious, unlike some other food-borne illnesses, which can only hurt and even kill 'one victim at a time'.  Here's a CDC link on norovirus for you: http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/revb/gastro/norovirus-qa.htm
     My advice has been this for years now:  DO NOT EAT RAW OYSTERS.  THE RISK OF CONTRACTING SOME SEVERE AND PERMANENTLY LIFE-ALTERING VIRAL OR OTHER ILLNESS IS JUST TOO GREAT TO RISK IT.  This applies to the young, the elderly, those who are immunocompromised and pregnant and nursing women, especially.
     I understand that there's nothing better than a good 'Oyster/Seafood Bar'.  But from a microbiological standpoint, things have been dicey for a long time now.  Add to the recent Gulf area flooding (with attendant sewage and cemetery upheaval and run-off) and I am forced to ratchet up my alert level to you. 
     The Gulf Oil Spill is fouling all living things in the area.  From a biochemical point-of-view, chemical contamination, whether from petrochemicals, pesticides or putrefaction cannot be 'cooked or processed away'.  Therefore, I am expanding my standing ADVICE FOR YOU THAT GULF OF MEXICO STATIONARY BOTTOM-FEEDERS SUCH AS OYSTERS AND CLAMS AS WELL AS SHRIMP, FISH AND ALL SWIMMERS, BOTH RAW AND COOKED ARE LIKELY TO NOT BE SAFE FOR CONSUMPTION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
     It is very likely that the gulf stream will transport oil up the East Coast and as such, all of the sea and it's food will have to be monitored henceforth.
     NOTE FOR PET-OWNERS: Everything I write here pertains to animal and pet food, as well.  Take care to check the source of the fish and fish-byproducts, such as fish meal in your pet's food.  I just pray that pet food manufacturers are vigilant, conscionable and responsible when it comes to their raw material sources.  It is extremely difficult to know what it is exactly we are eating and to a certain degree, dining has become a literal act of faith.
     Since I've mentioned 'fish by-products', I will also mention 'meat by-products' in animal/pet food.  Simply put, by law these by-products are allowed to contain, meat scraps, organ meats, meat from 'downers' (sick animals which means infected tissue, tumors, etc), and everything else that's left over after filleting/deboning or butchering.  There is a very real risk of contracting the prion disease BSE, bovine spongiform encephalopathy, known as 'mad cow disease' or Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (vCJD in humans.  Forms of prion disease care capable infecting many mammals.  http://www.fda.gov/AnimalVeterinary/ResourcesforYou/AnimalHealthLiteracy/ucm136222.htm 
     MY ADVICE IS TO AVOID THESE BY-PRODUCTS AT ALL COSTS WHEN THEY ARE LISTED AS THE PREDOMINANT INGREDIENT IN YOUR PETS' FOOD.  CHANGE BRANDS AS NECESSARY IF YOU LOVE YOUR PETS.
     Even the bleakest situation has some upside and the morbid one in the current Gulf Oil spill is no exception.  I predict that microbial contamination of the Gulf is bound to change one way or another.  Petrochemicals are quite anti-microbial, even being used in the form of 'coal tar' in ointments and shampoos.  Petrochemicals, as coal tar and in other incarnations kill everything from bacteria to head lice, so we shall wait and see specifically transpires in the microflora and fauna of the Gulf waters.

Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill Update - May 5, 2010\Multi-government agency response to the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is working with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), other Federal agencies, and several state authorities in the regions affected by the recent oil spill. FDA continues to closely monitor this developing situation and its potential impact on the safety of seafood harvested from the area.
Although crude oil has the potential to taint seafood with flavors and odors caused by exposure to hydrocarbon chemicals, the public should not be concerned about the safety of seafood in stores at this time. There is no reason to believe that any contaminated product has made its way to the market.
Federal and state officials are monitoring the waters from which seafood is harvested and will act to close areas contaminated by the oil spill to fishing and shellfish harvesting. NOAA has the authority to close Federal waters to commercial fishing and states have the authority to close waters within the state 3-mile limit.
NOAA has already closed a large area of the Gulf of Mexico to commercial fishing and some state molluscan shellfish beds have been closed in anticipation of the oil nearing the shoreline. Closely monitoring and, if warranted, closing harvest waters which could be exposed to the oil spill should prevent unsafe seafood from reaching the market. If, despite these steps, adulterated seafood is found on the market, both the FDA and the states have the authority to seize such product and remove it from the food supply.
Fish and shellfish harvested from areas unaffected by the closures are considered safe to eat.

Dear Ones:

I believe that people who have a basic understanding of what's going on around them will not be so 'afraid' of events happening, especially those which are out of our control. Therefore, I want to address a few basic concepts regarding the flubbub over all things 2012. Surely by now you've been bombarded by huge amounts of 2012 predictions and wonder what to think about all of it, just as I do.

First, we all basically understand that earthquakes result from shifts in tectonic plates. The earth has a hot, molten core and when it 'acts up', energy is directed towards the surface somewhere on the earth and it 'cracks' as an earthquake.

Then we have a similar situation on the sun, only on the sun, when the energy on the SURFACE "acts up", producing a solar flare, the energy (yes, besides being thrown out into space) is also transferred INWARDLY , thus producing what are known as SUNQUAKES.

Why am I telling you this? It is because the scientific community is convinced that a series of solar flares will occur before and around that infamous December 21, 2012 date. It is predicted that these flares will produce many large SUNQUAKES, which in turn will disrupt the surface of the sun and produce yet more energy-emitting solar flares.

Solar flare energy is measured by all sorts of parameters including proton, electron, 'magnetic field', 'plasma', etc emissions. One does not need to be an astrophysicist to tell from photos and graphs that things are active at this time in history.

Here is what you should bear in mind: Before any major EVENTS occur here on earth, there will be disturbances in SOLAR activity. As long as you have access to a computer, you will be able to prepare for these events. I'm not saying that the earth will be totally devastated, but I AM saying that some of the earth will suffer destruction. So you know, a series of solar events preceded the Haitian earthquakes. And though it's been lost in the translation, there have also recently been substantial earthquakes in California, the Philippines and elsewhere, ALSO due to recent solar history. Noting the trends is very useful for those who are not afraid to know a bit as we live in faith.

Is it time to panic? No. Is it time to be realistic? Yes. Is it time to prepare? Yes. Is all this predicted in Scripture? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

My Dear Ones, help those who are lost in their understanding of things and introduce them to the Redemptive Power of Jesus Christ. As many mothers and grandmothers and I do, don't you wonder how in the world anyone, young or old, can possibly manage with all the strife in the world without having a spiritual base in life

If you've never really evangelized before, now is the time to consider it. Share the comfort of your faith and spread that GOOD NEWS. Not only CAN you do it, but you SHOULD do it, no matter what may come on December 21, 2012.
