Dear Readers:
     I don't know about you, but I think it is time that all Americans--citizens and those here legally--take a cold, hard look at the realities of this election cycle.
     We are not stupid and we no longer are ignorant.  As I witness the growing 'Sharia Compliance' in Europe, I see it creeping into all areas of life in the United States, even here in Connecticut where it has a fine foothold.
     Watch this 'compilation' video of President Obama 'clips' and draw your own conclusions.  From where I stand as a member of the same 'denomination' (movement, it's called) the UCC (the United Church of Christ),  I believe President Obama is trying to have the 'best of both worlds' with his religious affiliations--a tactic doomed to fail because those born of Muslim fathers ARE Muslims, period.
     It may be falsely flattering to some 'Christians' that our President attempts to masquerade as a Christian.  But at his core, it seems quite obvious that Obama is faithful to the Muslim roots of his childhood. 
     This is quite reasonable, actually, if not for all the tension, racial divide, threats from abroad and domestically by Islamic terrorists and discord our President's 'choice' has produced for all of us.
      I feel that he is not interested in protecting the interests of those of us who come from the Judeo-Christian tradition or even protecting our right to observe whatever religious beliefs we choose to.  I'd actually rather the President HAD no religious affiliation than to put us in the position he has today.
         If you are one of those who voted for President Obama and now have 'voters remorse', remember this: 
     It was the OBAMA TEAM who 'decided' to inject religion into the last Presidential race.
     It was the OBAMA TEAM who played a 'bait and switch' by utilizing the racially hurtful 'religio-political system' known as 'Black Liberation Theology' (also of the UCC) to garner votes and funding. 
     I know.   I was there at his first 'Presidential Speech' given in a 'church meeting setting' in Hartford, CT. 
     And hard as it is to believe, for a period of time (before I wisened up), I was called upon, as an elected local church officer,  to 'defend' the rantings of the Reverend Jeremiah Wright!
     "Got a problem with anti-white, anti-America Chicago Trinity news?  Talk to her."  Egads, that seems like eons ago, and I still can't believe I allowed myself to be put in that position without doing further investigation.  Shame on me!
     As for 'the Islamization of America': Are they KIDDING?  Did they think we would not NOTICE?  Did they think we would not CARE?  Did they think we would not REACT? 
     Our political leaders think very little of us.  By the time some people wake up, this could all be a 'fait accompli'.  Thank God we have our sturdy and upright TEA PARTY CANDIDATES!
      This formerly politically inactive Reverend has come to life and is alive and well working with the TEA PARTY PATRIOTS.  For the love of God and country, dear ones, PLEASE use the DISCERNMENT and INTELLIGENCE the Good Lord gave you and get politically active today!  Our aim should be PEACE at any cost, without being stupid about it.  Our aim should be to PRESERVE our American way-of-life.
     I really don't know if it is possible for the United States of America to peacefully exist with the Muslim world. 
     I do not know if the preponderance of Muslims in America are 'the GOOD ONES' or not.  As for Muslims in the rest of the world, I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that anti-American sentiment predominates.
     To date, Muslims have been remarkably quiet and rather surreptitious and largely self-serving in the U.S.  They have a public relations problem to beat the band.
     So-called 'Interfaith Events' we've been witnessing in the Northeast, especially, have done nothing but promote Muslim initiatives, and that with no consideration for non-Muslim sentiment.  
     I don't know how our President will shake out eventually.  I find it hard to believe that a strong-willed person such as he would allow himself to be TOO manipulated.  Many of us were hoping to 'root for' the black guy.  But I chose to vote for McCain for reasons that had absolutely nothing to do with anything but good old American politics.
     The OBAMA TEAM turned it all into a game of class, racial, social, ethnic and religious upheaval.
     We don't need this.

"Local Muslim Leader Weighs In On Anti-American Violence Allegedly Spurred By Controversial Anti-Islam Video" By Rev. Barbara Sexton Dear Ones Healing Ministry

 Dear Ones:
     Well, I don't know about any 'major' Muslim leaders, but I count one Muslim 'group' 'locally', at least, who has spoken up against the horrendous anti-American violence flaring up in the Middle East and all over the world.
     That 'one group' is 'The Muslim Coalition of Connecticut'.  I thank them for speaking forth:

     This is a good start."  But things have been largely silent about anything remotely related to caring about the United States of America, let alone non-Muslims in general.
     American Muslims are as silent as they have been since 9/11.  Except to attend a few 'interfaith Iftars' here and there, there is nothing.
     They offer no real words of sympathy for the American lives lost due to Muslim extremists.

Dear Ones:
     Rather than emphasize the many 'negatives' about President Obama's response to and his 'handling of' the embassy killings in Libya, I will take a different course here.
     I praise our up and coming 'President Mitt Romney'.
     I laud him for his appropriate, honorable and COURAGEOUS comments--amidst a sea of Progressive Liberal 'nay-sayers'--about the terrible PLANNED attacks on Ambassador Chris Stevens and others at United States embassies around the world.
     Here in 'liberal Connecticut', as elsewhere, I urge all peoples of 'good faith'....those who love America and those who seek to work for true JUSTICE...to have the COURAGE OF THEIR CONVICTIONS and thus vow to protect this United States of America.
     We cannot ignore obvious truths.
     It is time to wake up...and it is time to pray, as we seek to avoid violence whenever and wherever possible.

"FRC Shooter Floyd Lee Corkins II Plan To Leave A 'Chick-fil-A' Bag By Each Body?" By Rev. Barbara Sexton Dear Ones Healing Ministry

Dear Ones:
     Have you wondered AT ALL as to just 'why' the Family Research Council shooter Floyd Lee Corkins II was carrying 15 'Chick-fil-A's' in his backpack?
     I have.
     And I had to plumb the depths of my mind to see if I could determine all the possibilities of why he would do so.
     The reasons I came up with were 'one crazier than the other'...and all very unsavory.
     Our reflections on this Christian-hating Corkins is complicated, of course, by the fact that he is a 'complex' individual (I'm trying to be polite here).
     A Progressive liberal 'zealot' of the first order, Floyd Lee Corkings is, among other things, the latest enthusiastic contributor to a burgeoning wave of 'left wing violence' against conservatives...and against Christians, in particular.

"The Washington Post quoted Allan P. Chan, a former George Mason student, as saying he lifted weights and socialized with Corkins. Chan said Corkins was secretive and somewhat odd, and displayed an intense interest in the 19th-century German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche, according to the Post."

     What of Nietzsche, you might ask?

"Militant atheism may also be a factor in the shooter’s motives. Nietzsche is the well-known atheist philosopher who decried the “slave morality” of Christianity and proclaimed “God is dead”. The shooter in the Garielle Giffords case (Jared Lee Loughner) was a militant atheist. Militant atheists like Richard Dawkins and the American Atheists group have even called for the eradication of Christianity. But the vast majority of atheists are not violent."

     Thus far, we can 'understand' Corkins apparent hatred for the conservative establishment and the church in terms of his 'militant atheism', but what of those pesky Chick-fil-A sandwiches he had on his person, all fifteen of them?
     Well, the answer suggested by a commenter 'Tacitus Talk" is sickening and truly frightening:

"An eye-witness was interviewed on another news outlet. He was screaming that he was going to kill as many as he could and leave a Chick-Fil-A bag at the body."

     What kind of 'mind' comes up with that kind of plan?
     Is it 'evil, demented or both'?
     I'd say, 'Heaven knows'...but in this case, I suspect 'hell' knows, also.
     We wonder -- is there much 'active support' for LGBT activist Corkins by his 'fellows'?
     If there is, how is the public going to deal with it?  Similarly, how will the law enforcement community deal with it?
     I wish I had some answers for you.  Lacking them, at least we are 'forewarned'.
     We can be alert and aware of our surroundings, while always remembering that the last thing our Lord wants is for us to reply-in-kind to those who seek to harm us.

Dear Ones:
     Oh, the drama of it all.
     Charlie Rogers, outspoken Nebraskan 'hoops star'was taunted, abused, assaulted, carved and then burned up all for SIMPLY BEING A LESBIAN!
     Or so we all thought.
     Unfortunately (for her....and for all of us, in fact), the current contentious political climate literally begs for immediate and intensive investigation any time certain crimes occur and the sooner the better.
     We just now 'recovering' from an act of violence against the Family Research Council in Washington D.C. at the hands of shooter Floyd Lee Corkins II.
     We are, at this time, in an emotional election period where gay rights, marriage and all sorts of liberal vs. conservative cross-fire is an all-steam-ahead venture peppered with large doses of anti-Christian sentiment, which the mainstream media habitually ignores.
     Thankfully, the Nebraska case here got prompt attention, and that's a good thing at a time when passions are flaring:
"(Police Chief) Peschong said investigators also discovered that Rogers deleted numerous text messages she had sent the evening of the alleged attack, and that she bought cotton gloves, a box cutter and zip ties from an Ace Hardware Store in Lincoln on July 17. All of the items were later found in her house, he said.
She also sent a photo of a cross-shaped cut on her chest to a friend a few days before the reported attack, Peschong said."

     This Nebraska lesbian named Charlie Rogers appeared to be, at first, the victim of a horrendous anti-gay attack.
     No wonder the LGBT community rallied 'round Ms. Rogers!

     Of course, even-handed and level-headed law enforcement investigators soon suspected and finally 'realized' that this attack on Charlie Rogers very likely was inflicted upon her by herself with or without the help of a 'confederate'.
     For the moment neglecting the obvious concerns we should rightly have about crimes such as this, I would like to examine a 'specific aspect' of Ms. Roger's allegedly 'self-inflicted' wounds.
     Interestingly and terrifyingly, these wounds 'include' a CROSS carved onto this poor woman's chest.

     Indeed, she'd even "...sent a photo of a cross-shaped cut on her chest to a friend a few days before the reported attack, Peschong said."

     Clearly, this former female basketball star gave this 'cross issue' considerable consideration.

     My obvious question is, 'why choose a cross, of all things?'.  Did Ms. Rogers think and think and think again, very hard to come up with the MOST EVIL symbol she could think of in her zeal to be a victim?

     One wonders if  this victim/possible perpetrator had a history of disliking, or even 'hating' the Christian church to the point that she wished to....carve it in a most enduring way?

     Odds are, we are not likely to know, for the transcripts of any and all things mental health will be held as confidential (as well they should be) and that will be that.

     We will be left to contemplate just how misguided lesbian Charlie Roger came to settle upon her duplicitous 'self-victimization scheme', especially since she recently tweeted:

"So maybe I am too idealistic, but I believe way deep inside me that we can make things better for everyone. I will be a catalyst. I will do what it takes. I will. Watch me," read the July 18 posting, according to police."

     Yeah.  That's what she said.  "Make things better for everyone...".

"Investigators say they found no apparent sign of a struggle in the living room where Rogers said she was attacked, and no blood on the sheets where the cutting allegedly took place. An FBI forensic pathologist concluded that Rogers either cut herself, or allowed someone else to do it."

     I'd say that Ms. Roger's efforts are a truly epic FAIL.

     The only 'good' to come out of it -- along with other recent 'violent event's targeting Christians -- is that it is, yet another, 'heads-up' for those who profess Christ as Lord in these days.

     There are those who do not like or even hate us, simply because we are Christians.

     For now, Charlie Rogers is a 'marked woman', marked, presumably, by her own hands or by those of someone she allowed to mutilate her.

     She carries Christ's 'mark', which, to us Christians,  means she carries the 'mark' of the Father and the Holy Spirit as well.

     We do not know how it will bode long-term for Ms. Rogers, but I would urge those who read this to pray earnestly for her.

     Please pray for her to be unequivocally healed of whatever ails her and to forgive her unreservedly.

May God have mercy and compassion for Charlie Rogers and see that she gets the help she needs....
