Dear Ones:
If you are a voter (or expect to be registering in time to vote) in CT, you owe it to yourself to watch this TEA PARTY PATRIOTS video.
Kudos to CT TEA PARTY PATRIOTS representative Ron Wilcox, for expressing it all so accurately, boldly and succinctly.
It is our belief that informed voters are empowered voters. Especially in this day and age of fiscal irresponsibility, voters need to take things in hand and make some REAL changes in CT and across the Nation.
God Bless You & God Bless America

My only comment to Ron...
ReplyDeleteFiscal responsibility handled in a constitutitionally conservative manner takes care of the social issues. There is no problem discussing the social issues. The Republicans must not fear the conversation. You can't legislate morality but funding is in the hands of the elected; unless of course you have carefully, constitutionally crafted Initiative and Referendum to bring the concern directly to the people of the state. Dismantle the IRS, institute the FairTax and the favoritism goes away. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is restored.
Anonymous: I sure hope you are somehow involved with the Tea Party Patriots with your 'plethora' of substantive ideas. Me--I have concentrated on 'social issues' and proudly wear my labels: 'racist', 'homophobe', 'bigot'..and 'Islamophobe', for my faith sustains me in Truth. (If you knew my history, you'd laugh at this, in fact, but I always 'consider the source') But for my fellow Tea Party Patriots in CT, I think they are emphasizing exactly what they SHOULD be at this time. YES social issues should be decided by 'the voters' and I pray to God we will bring many moral and ethical issues to the voting booths as 'referenda' eventually. (Is that the term? I'm not that well-versed in political things...so I stick with what I know!) Let those of us who have been tempered in the fire do the direct confrontations, I say, for we are dealing with a bunch of 'bullies' in the Nutmeg state. Their stategies and tactics are base and predicated on some real time-wasting, diversionary nastiness. We need waste as little energy with that 'game' as possible (that's common sense)...And I also always pray that the TPP will NEVER lower them(our)selves to resorting to the gutter politics of the left. Sorry this is so long but just as I read you comment, I was thinking of writing a piece on the 'name-calling' that is not doing much good for everyone from Obama & Biden to Himes right on down to the ballot-photocopiers in Bridgeport and elsewhere. You must have read my mind! Blessings-Rev. Barb
