ON THIS DAY...June 25, 1950
Korean War 1950 - 1953
June 25, 1950 - North Korean People's Army invades across the 38th Parallel. The South Korean people simply say "6-2-5"(pronounced yoo-gee-o), June-25th, to remember the beginning of the war that divides their homeland to this day. We salute the thousands of American and allied veterans who served and fought in war-torn Korea in 1950-1953 and beyond. Today's Soldiers are inspired by their courage and sacrifices as they too defend our freedoms around the world.

A big THANK YOU to Korean Vets of all branches for your great service to our country!
Please pray with me:
Dear Lord:
We ask that you bless and care for those brave souls who fought and sacrified for us in this great country, the United States of America. Please, Father, remember those who gave their all and remember their loved ones as we commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Korean War. Bless those who fought there...both the living and the dead...and assure them that You are always by their side.
Most of all, we pray for mercy for ourselves and for those we call or once called 'enemies' that we might someday reconcile with each other and have a war like this never again.
We pray these things in the Name of Your Precious Son Jesus Christ,
AMEN
