Dear Ones:
How would you like to be tied to a tree or something with no room to move? How would you like having a chain around your head so heavy that you can barely hold your head up, let alone move? How would you like to be 'tethered' with a rope tied tightly enough to literally become painfully embedded in your flesh? Worse still, how would you like to be tied, chained and tethered in the broiling sun, freezing cold, and often without food or water? NEITHER WOULD I! That's why we are so grateful to Gov. Rell for signing this anti-tethering law you can read here:

Now, please join me in sending Gov. Rell a 'big THANK YOU' for signing this important, compassionate and life-saving piece of legislation...all of you have also worked for this and all of you who care about animals: https://secure2.convio.net/aspca/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=2719&JServSessionIdr004=fqjcf0no11.app224b
HERE'S WHAT I SENT TO GOV. RELL:
Dear Gov. Rell: Thank you so much for choosing enough to care about God's 'littlest creatures' who are often abused, neglected and exploited in dog fights. If it is true that the 'worth of a society is predicated upon how it treats its children, its elders, its weakest and its animals'...then you put CT in GOOD STEAD in this regard with your signing of SB 274, the anti-tethering bill, into LAW. Thank you for doing so, and--
God Bless all the work you do for us.

PLEASE SEND YOUR THANK-YOU TODAY, ALSO. IT'S EASY. We bug our legislators when we want something, so it's only right that we say 'Thank You' when it's appropriate. Here's the 'thank-you' LINK, again for CT:
