Dear Ones:Here is something that may help authorized TRICARE users to improve their health care data storage and tracking. TRICARE Online (TOL) is a web site of the Military Health System. The Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Health Affairs and the TRICARE Management Activity provides it as a public service for those who qualify.
In this day and age of terrorism, natural disasters and other disruptions, it really is a good idea for everyone to make sure their medical data is preserved and secured. As a matter of fact, I urge each and every one of you to be sure to include copies of your medical records in your 'Family Disaster Supplies Kit' http://www.ctredcross.org/pdf/Your_Family_Disaster_Supplies_Kit.pdf as recommended by the American Red Cross. As a member of the MRC (Medical Reserve Corps) in CT http://www.cityofstamford.org/content/25/52/140/214/364/402/103692/default.aspx I will be giving you some valuable tips in the future so that when the need arises, you will be able to evacuate to safety--or shelter 'in-place' should--God forbid--it be necessary.
In the meantime, here is one avenue of recourse for members of the DoD/Military and their dependents who qualify for TRICARE. Military.com surveys have found that most servicemembers and their families are confused by TRICARE. It is my honor to help keep you up-to-date. And as always, if I can assist you with anything in particular with medical matters, be it info, paperwork or something else, just email me at BarbaraKSexton@aol.com . I will help you any way I can.
Again, thank you and God Bless You for your hard work and sacrifice for our fine country.
God Bless You and God Bless America!
