Gov. Malloy's "Job Killer" Budget Tour
Bring your questions, your friends, fellow taxpayers to this political dog and pony show. Other citizens have already explained to Gov. Malloy that it is crazy to raises taxes, by 1.5 billion dollars, or any amount, when the state is in the middle of a recession. Construction is way down, real estate is getting hollowed out - the private sector is hurting, and now Malloy wants to hurt it even more by taking more money from it in order to help the state government unions with more taxes and more debt. All this in what is already the most indebted state, per capita, in the whole nation.
Malloy has talked about "shared sacrifice" but he has shown nothing that is comparable from the state government. He needs lots of pressure.

HIME'S CRIMES CONTINUE!
The ever so illustrious Jim Himes will be at the following locations to push his budget busting ideas. We need to be there and let him know he needs to spend less - a lot less.

The Stamford RTC has several seats open on the committee, we need to help fill in some of these positions:
District 3, from Lockwood Ave. to Water St.,
District 5, from Greenwich Ave. to West Main St.
Should you know anyone in these districts who is interested in getting involved, please send them to me: Philip Balestriere. balestrierep@yahoo.com 203-856-1709
We can put 2 committee members on each district and 4 associates on each district. The RTC is broken and need more fresh blood to help make big changes.
Food Drive
Also, we would like to establish a food or clothing drive for the needy. This will be discussed at the meeting to get some ideas on how to proceed. We think it's a good idea, especially with the economy the way it is.
Tea Party Patriots would like to thank Charlie Pia and Monique Thomas for attending our meeting last week. We appreciate their views.
Up coming Candidates
We have invited Daniel Fox (Democrat) and John Mollazzi (Democrat) to attend our meeting and get a sense on their views. We're still waiting for a confirmation. As tea party people, we must extend the opportunity to all candidates.
Voter FraudWe are still trying to recruit anyone that would like to join forces with Cort Wrotnowski in getting out the effort on voter fraud. We need to gear up for 2012 election by working with the local Bridgeport and New Haven tea party groups. We need to support their efforts.
April 15th is Tax day up in Hartford
April 15th is on a Friday. Please see if you can take the day off to attend this important event. We need to let Governor Dan Malloy know about what is wrong with his job killing tax proposal. Let's see if we can arrange car pooling ahead of time. Mo is getting a petition signed as she knocks on doors to present to the Governor, let's help her get as many signatures as possible and send the message that we don't want his tax hike proposal. It's amazing, they just don't get it.Greenwich-Stamford TEA PARTY PATRIOTS
