Dear God of All Creation:
     We know that we are not always such good stewards of that which you have generously given us.  We know that we are often downright abusive of the rights you've given us to have dominion over the land and it's beasts and over other living things.       
     At best we take things for granted.  At worst we destroy, abuse and kill that which should be protected and loved, including humans and animals and things of the earth and seas.
     Heavenly Father, we are sorry for our thoughtlessness and bad actions which have resulted in the devastation of our ecosystem.  We heartily regret the suffering and torture we are subjecting your beloved creatures to because of our carelessness and greed. 
     We ask that you have mercy on us and restore things back to the way they were.  We ask your forgiveness, those of us who are chastened.  We ask for your loving discipline, those of us who are are not dissuaded from doing harm to all you have created.
     Lord God, at this time on earth, please save your true children from the worst of your wrath.  May we and the generations to come be looked upon with your favor and live in peace and prosperity in the years to come.
     We pray these things in the Name of your Precious Son Jesus Christ.
