LIVE-ATTENUATED NASAL SPRAY (2-24 HEALTHY)

ALSO INJECTABLE (PREGNANT WOMEN, BABYSITTERS, AGE 3-64 WITH MEDICAL CONDITIONS)

No appointments are necessary, and the vaccine is free. The vaccine, in the form of the live-attenuated nasal spray, will be available to healthy individuals 2 to 24 years old and healthy household contacts and caregivers of infants younger than 6 months.The injectable vaccine will be available to pregnant women, household caretakers and contacts for infants who are not eligible for the H1N1 nasal spray and those age 3 to 64 with underlying medical conditions.
Parking is available on the second level of the UConn garage on Washington Boulevard. The department is also no longer accepting appointments for the H1N1 nasal spray, and will be distributing the intranasal doses to eligible persons at future city clinics.
