Just so you know, I have to say that I am a woman with strong opinions.  My scientific 'bent' as a biochemist tells me that being gay is a consequence of conception, gestation and birth and, therefore, of God's will.  God made gay people the way they are, just as He made non-gay people the way they are.    As for transgendered people and hermaphrodites, they, again, are the way God made them.  I will elaborate in another article, but suffice to say that I've studied enough genetics (I considered genetics as a focus of study along with biochemistry) to know that the masculinization or feminization of the brain, genitals and body of an infant is beyond the control of a developing infant.  God made people gay, hermaphrodite and the inclination to feel or to be 'transgendered'.  This is just the way it is biologically and my faith confirms these things.  That said, I've no stomach for gays, hermaphrodite, transgendered, etc people who dress up as disrespectful 'nuns' and clergy and for people who use 'churches' in order to promote their hedonist lifestyles. CUT IT OUT because it really hurts your cause!  Give me a break!  I understand anger, but I treasure compassion.   Most of all, I reject in-your-face/ACT-UP tactics regarding LGBT issues.  They just don't float.  Still, I pray for the best for us all. Be honest.  Be true to yourself.  God cares for us all.  With Love,
