Dear Ones:
Earlier today, I posted a 'time snapshot' of the aurora as it 'hits' the earth. The aurora is, simply put, an energy visualization of the energy the sun 'puts out' i.e. of solar events. See how this hour's aurora is stronger as we look at the colored bar measured in ergs. Erg is a unit of work. Auroral energy is also measured in power units(the observed hemispheric auroral power input). At this moment it is 7.0 GW (GigaWatts). We know watts from light bulb classifications. A GW is a billion watts.
THIS IS A RECENT PICTURE OF THE AURORA. NOTE THAT IT IS DARKER ORANGE (MEANING MORE POWER IS BEING EMITTED BY IT ON THE EARTH) AND THAT IT IS NOW DIRECTED TOWARDS COLORADO.
AURORA I POSTED EARLIER TODAY-NOTICE IT IS LIGHTER (LOWER ERG VALUE) AND IT'S DIRECTION WAS INTO THE ATLANTIC.
What is the significance of all this, you ask? Today is a good opportunity to give you another 'tutorial' on things celestial which affect and will be affecting the earth. If the 'color' above reaches red and is directed appropriately, a very real scenario of a large Geomagnetic Storm will exist. Geomagnetic Storms are disturbances in the geomagnetic field caused by gusts in the solar wind that blows by Earth. These storms are valued G1, G2, G3, G4 and G5. It is better to understand this phenomenon NOW, rather than wait until the last minute and panic and have to depend on others to interpret things for us. Of course I understand if you choose to not know of these things. That is quite understandable!
But how, you may ask, do we determine the 'G' Level of a
given geomagnetic storm? The Kp scale is the measurement used to reflect global level of geomagnetic activity.
Note that the Kp index is a bit elevated, as the auroral power measurements are elevated due to recent high solar activity I spoke about earlier here: http://dearoneshealingministry.blogspot.com/2010/02/interesting-seismic-map-for-today.html
The Kp index and G scale are correlated as follows:
Kp-index NOAA Space Weather Scale
Geomagnetic Storm Level
Kp=5 G1
Kp=6 G2
Kp=7 G3
Kp=8 G4
Kp=9 G5
Thus, if and when a large Geomagnetic storm seems likely, I would like to be able to let you know in advance so that you can prepare for things. Be sure to pack you Bible, because that will be the only HANDBOOK of any use that we will have! Most likely, if a major Geomagnetic storm hits, we will have no computers, no power, no cell or land phones, no electricity...You get the picture.
To recap, remember this: solar events affect the earth's geomagnetic fields, among other things and can be the cause of things like earthquakes, visual sky phenomena and transmission disruptions of many kinds. And all these are trackable, even if we can't do anything about them or escape their potential fury.
There are other things for future tutorials, such as:
Solar Radiation Storms: elevated levels of radiation that occur when the numbers of energetic particles increase. S1 S2 S3 S4 S5 and
Radio Blackouts: disturbances of the ionosphere caused by X-ray emissions from the Sun. R1 R2 R3 R4 R5
Our God is God of All and I Pray for us in the Name of Jesus Christ at this time on earth. The Lord will see His children through it all!
AMEN.
With Love,
Reverend Barb Sexton
