I sure hope you had a good Thanksgiving. I hope it was a happy day for you and for those around you, and for those who spent it with your inside and/or outside pets.  Yes, animals can be better company than people sometimes.  I hope if you were with those who care about you, that those around you felt how much you care about them. If you chose to be alone on Thanksgiving, I hope you did it because you wanted to.  Better yet,  I hope you did it because you can!  Spending time alone real takes guts and a strong character.. I hope you have a good heart filled with contentment and a belly full of good food. I hope you didn't just remember to be grateful, but really felt it-- not all holidays are that great, as you know. I hope you were and are free of regret, rancor, remorse and risky behavior. They gain you nothing at all, but you already know that. I hope you remembered to forget people's expectations of you for the day and could be yourself and 'just go with it'.  Thanksgiving is only one day a year, like Christmas, and we need to keep it in perspective.  God knows your heart and He will, provide whatever you need and that's all that matters.  With Love, Reverend Barbara Sexton November 27, 2009
