"Greenwich-Stamford TEA PARTY PATRIOTS Demonstration At Ferguson Sun 14, 2011 A Great SUCCESS!" By Reverend Barbara Sexton 'Dear Ones Healing Ministry'

 Dear Ones:
YES!!! On this wonderful, beautiful rainy day, eight (8) proud TEA PARTY PATRIOTS quietly and respectfully held signs for passers-by to read.
In a world where places like Texas and Somalia have been subjected to some of the worst droughts in history...how could we NOT love the beautiful, beautiful rain here in the N.E. that God has bestowed upon us?
I said we were quiet and the only time we may have 'yelled' at bit was when some kindly drivers tooted their horns in support of us.
In case they don't realize it, let me tell those 'horn-tooters' something: We appreciate your encouragement much more than you can ever know--especially in 'Progressive Liberal' SW CT!
But rest assured, though Greenwich-Stamford TEA PARTY PATRIOTS may be small in number, our INTENTIONS are VERY LARGE.
We want better lives for ALL people, not only in Connecticut, but all over the USA.  The beauty of Connecticut with it's diversity is that we are in a position to help ALL people here legally, both citizens and those hoping to become citizens.
We are in a dynamic state with the potential to really make a difference!
From a pastoral stand-point, I say, "It is easy to be kind to those who 'like' you...but as a decent peoples--religious or not--the real challenge is to assure a good quality-of-life for all who love this country and are asking for help.
That simply is not happening now with our current political leaders.  They haven't been able to provide people with something as simple as a JOB for years now!  CT has seen businesses driven away in droves for quite a while now.
YES-Connecticut is a 'study in frustration' for conservatives and even for 'moderates' who aren't part of the 'old boy network'.  Yet I am encouraged at this time that we TEA PARTY PATRIOTS have the very wonderful opportunity to really make a difference and improve the lives of those in the Nutmeg state!
     WON'T YOU JOIN US?
My precious 'plea' is to those who are no longer enchanted with the current administration state-wise and nationally.  Perhaps you will consider looking more fully into the Greenwich-Stamford TEA PARTY PATRIOTS and find out just what we really are all about.
Predictably, we must 'do all things for ourselves' for the most part and that's okay. I would like to encourage all you 'honkers' to JOIN US at what will be regular Sunday peaceful and informative demonstrations in front of Stamford Library and other places to be announced.
I promise you, you will make a difference--not only for yourselves, but for your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, too!
My 'sign' reads, "LET'S HELP HEAL OUR BELOVED AMERICA!".
     Who doesn't agree with that?
     Do you?
God Bless You & God Bless America

"An Open Letter To All Stamford Residents From MoniqueThomas Independent Party Candidate For CT State Rep From The 148th" By Reverend Barbara Sexton

Dear Stamford Residents,

As we approach the special election on Tuesday, April 12th, I find it important to more clearly clarify who I am as a candidate and what constitutes my beliefs and qualifications to represent my neighbors in the 148th District of Stamford.

It has come to my attention that my association with the principles of the tea party movement has been mischaracterized by the press and at least one of my opponents.

First and foremost, the tea party movement is just that, a movement, not a political Party. Because the principles of the tea party movement are:
· fiscal responsibility,
· personal accountability,
· constitutionally limited government,
· and allowing businesses to run on an even playing field free of crony-capitalism and over burdensome regulations

… I got involved in the movement. These principles ring true for me. I was one of four founders of a local organization of tea partiers to promote these American principles that our Founding Fathers recognized.

As I have been speaking with Republican, Unaffiliated, Democrat and Independent registered voters across the district, most agree that it is time to restore sound fiscal policy.

I believe that it is essential for elected members of our government to abide by the rules we have allowed them to ignore for decades. This is why I am asking to be the next State Representative from the 148th.

As a member of the tea party movement which encourages individual responsibility to be a leader in one’s community, over the last two years I have participated in producing educational programs on a weekly basis right here in Stamford. Some of the topics of the programs have included voter fraud detection, economic literacy, the US constitution and the role of the 10th Amendment. We also hold discussion groups relating to State and Federal legislative issues that impact the citizens of Stamford.

I am proud to have helped my fellow citizens understand the election cycle though candidate vetting sessions and candidate training classes, voter education and voter registration drives. As a result of my leadership more citizens are getting involved.

Looking at the other 4 candidates in this race, I have not seen any effort on their part to bring this sort of information to the general public. I believe I will be the best Representative that you can select on Tuesday, April 12th . While I have the endorsement of the Independent Party, my allegiance will be to my constituents and not a political party.

From the land of the free and the home of the brave,

MoniqueThomas

From Cort Wrotnowski

Citizens Against Fraudulent Elections, LLC

A hugely important date is very close, April 12th, and we are running out of time. I feel very strongly that Monique Thomas is the one who should be sent to Hartford by you, the voter of the 148th District in Glenbrook/The Cove. As an Independent, your vote for her would send a shock to the system. You can be sure Gov. Malloy, who is already counting the additional tax dollars he will take from you, is expecting a Democrat from this district who will just rubber stamp a budget that will put this state in even more debt, lower our credit rating even more, making it more costly for the state to raise money, in turn requiring even higher taxation. You can also be sure that Gov. Malloy will make a big yawn if a Republican gets elected. But if you want to wipe that tax-hungry smirk off his face, then send Monique Thomas to Hartford. Sending an Independent, and the only candidate in the district who has signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge, will strike fear into his heart. Monique Thomas is the LAST person he wants to see.
Monique is extremely determined to fix the problems in this state. She knows more about the issues affecting Connecticut than all the other candidates combined. Sending her to Hartford will make it clear to Malloy that he needs to listen to us, the taxpayers.
So, please, weigh this carefully. Here we are the state with the highest per capita debt in the whole nation, nearly $5,000/person just to Hartford and Malloy wants you to owe even more.
Often times, in a battle, it is one person, one event, one decision that turns that battle. Monique is that person. Vote for her on April 12th.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Sincerely,
Cort WrotnowskiPresidentCitizens Against Fraudulent Elections, LLC

"Letter To The Editor-Special Election On Tuesday, April 12th for State Representative of the 148th District" Posted By Reverend Barbara Sexton 'Dear Ones Healing Ministry'

(From e-mail):
Please consider telling your family and friends in the Glenbrook and Cove Area of Stamford to
Vote for Monique Thomas for State Representative of the 148th district
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stamford Advocate
Letter to the Editor;

It’s been 27 years since I left the Cove area in Stamford to build a home in Greenwich.

At that time, I Was past president of the Cove Neighborhood Assn., Co-Chairman of Citizen's For Neighborhood Schools and I was also a board member of CONA (The Coalition Of Neighborhood Associations.) My four children all attended Murphy School.

I say all this hoping that some in Stamford will still remember me, and will consider my recommendation to vote for, and support, Monique “Mo” Thomas, who is running in a Special Election for State Representative of the 148th district.

Even with all the massive buildings that went up and the large corporations coming to Stamford since I left; I understand that the taxes are proportionately higher than ever. Monique signed the no tax pledge to; “oppose and vote against any and all efforts to increase taxes.”

Monique, who is running as an independent, petition candidate, is the founder and past president of the Greenwich / Stamford Tea Party. I’ve known Monique for almost a year and have found her to be of good character, bold and courageous. Too many of today’s politicians seem to be spineless, not so with Monique; she is very outspoken, Anyone who knows Monique, will tell you that she is a fearless, tireless, dyna-MO.

If you’ve had it with people who make promises but don’t deliver, if you’re tired of voting for the lesser of the evils, if you’re concerned with government waste and high taxes, if you want someone you can depend on to be in your corner, vote for Monique Thomas.

You can find Monique’s web site on the internet @ www.moforstamford.com

Remember To Vote In This Special Election On Tuesday, April 12th

Thank you for your consideration,

Nick Fortunato

Gov. Malloy's "Job Killer" Budget Tour

Bring your questions, your friends, fellow taxpayers to this political dog and pony show. Other citizens have already explained to Gov. Malloy that it is crazy to raises taxes, by 1.5 billion dollars, or any amount, when the state is in the middle of a recession. Construction is way down, real estate is getting hollowed out - the private sector is hurting, and now Malloy wants to hurt it even more by taking more money from it in order to help the state government unions with more taxes and more debt. All this in what is already the most indebted state, per capita, in the whole nation.
Malloy has talked about "shared sacrifice" but he has shown nothing that is comparable from the state government. He needs lots of pressure.

The Stamford RTC, Issues and Challenges
The Stamford RTC has several seats open on the committee, we need to help fill in some of these positions:
District 3, from Lockwood Ave. to Water St.,
District 5, from Greenwich Ave. to West Main St.
Should you know anyone in these districts who is interested in getting involved, please send them to me: Philip Balestriere. balestrierep@yahoo.com 203-856-1709
We can put 2 committee members on each district and 4 associates on each district. The RTC is broken and need more fresh blood to help make big changes.
Food Drive
Also, we would like to establish a food or clothing drive for the needy. This will be discussed at the meeting to get some ideas on how to proceed. We think it's a good idea, especially with the economy the way it is.
Last Week’s Candidates Meet and Greet

Tea Party Patriots would like to thank Charlie Pia and Monique Thomas for attending our meeting last week. We appreciate their views.
Up coming Candidates
We have invited Daniel Fox (Democrat) and John Mollazzi (Democrat) to attend our meeting and get a sense on their views. We're still waiting for a confirmation. As tea party people, we must extend the opportunity to all candidates.
Voter FraudWe are still trying to recruit anyone that would like to join forces with Cort Wrotnowski in getting out the effort on voter fraud. We need to gear up for 2012 election by working with the local Bridgeport and New Haven tea party groups. We need to support their efforts.
April 15th is Tax day up in Hartford
April 15th is on a Friday. Please see if you can take the day off to attend this important event. We need to let Governor Dan Malloy know about what is wrong with his job killing tax proposal. Let's see if we can arrange car pooling ahead of time. Mo is getting a petition signed as she knocks on doors to present to the Governor, let's help her get as many signatures as possible and send the message that we don't want his tax hike proposal. It's amazing, they just don't get it.

A Note From Rev. Barb:
It is my distinct pleasure to ENDORSE Monique 'MO' Thomas for Stamford's District 148 State Representative Candidate.
I know Mo, I like Mo and I respect Mo.
She is exactly what ailing Stamford and CT need at this time!
Please VOTE in the Special Election on April 12, 2011 and let your voice be heard via this 'no-nonsense' woman who is intelligent, compassionate and committed to public service.
Mo Thomas is willing to take on the job of representing those who are sick and tired of endless TAX INCREASES in a state that literally drives businesses and generous families away.
'The Gold Coast' becomes 'the Fool's Gold Coast'...charitable donations dry up...and Connecticut wonders 'why?'.
Yet the reason is clear to us.
Connecticut is a state in trouble with the highest tax-supported debt of all the states!  Check it out for yourself, right from the 'horse's mouth':

Monigue Thomas and those like her are Connecticut's--and Stamford's in particular--only hope.
Monique Thomas will help restore fiscal sanity to Stamford and all of Connecticut.
Please be sure to vote for her on April 12, 2011.

UPDATE ON THE SPECIAL ELECTIONS:

In our G/STPP all out support in the District 27 race, here is the general info for the Bob Kolenberg for State Senate campaign I have gotten out to the Republican leadership across the 4th Congressional District as of yesterday....

Please contact me as soon as possible to let me know how you can help.

Tea Party Phonebank nights are Monday February 7.14 and 21 11:00AM-8:00PM

Come on down to meet fellow Patriots.
Hi all,
I am managing the volunteers for Bob Kolenberg's run for State Senator to represent District 27 Stamford/Darien. You may ask why I reach out to Republicans in all of the 4th Congressional District to support a candidate in Stamford/Darien. The reason is simple; we need more conservative, principled and hardworking representation in Hartford.

The bad news from November's general election is we wound up with Dan Malloy as governor. The good news is we gained 15 seats in the state legislature. With Gov. Malloy's 8 appointments and 1 resignation, we as Republicans have been blessed with the opportunity to move 9 more seats over.

The challenge we face is only to get out our vote.

I am putting together phonebanking nights for groups across the district to participate in the effort to bring balance to Hartford. Sessions to make sure people get out and vote will be held every Monday-Saturday from 4:00-8:00PM through February 22nd. The phones are located at Kolenberg for State Senate headquarters at 108 Bedford Street in Stamford. Please let me know which evening would be good for your group so I can get you on the calendar. We can't balance the budget until we balance Hartford. I encourage all RTCs to step up and do as much as they can to help all of the citizens of CT. Bob not only represents his district but his vote affects all of us. God gave us another chance. How foolish would it be to sit on our hands now?

Please take the time to check Bob out for yourself (a small section from the site is copied below): http://kolenbergforsenate.com/ Sign up for the insider info and be kept up to date on the latest from the campaign. To get to know him better firsthand there is a League of Women Voters’ debate tentatively scheduled for Tuesday Feb 8th.

If individuals find other times more convenient for phonebanking (phones are open from 11AM-8PM or would prefer to help out with other assignments including door-to-door and on election day anyone may contact me directly at iwantmo2@hotmail.com  or on my cel at 203-962-1413.

Thanks for being here,

Looking Out for You: The Record

Bob’s record on Stamford’s Board of Finance looking out for you and your tax dollars speaks for itself:   Click here to get inside information from the Kolenberg campaign: http://kolenbergforsenate.com

• Two years before Bob was elected to the Board of Finance, Stamford suffered a whopping 16% property tax increase. After getting elected to the board, Bob was able to force the City to limit tax increases during the next two years to just 1%.

• City officials tried early this year to raise property taxes by 15%. Bob took on them again and whittled down the tax increase to just under 2%.

• Bob didn’t make a lot of friends with the City Hall Bureaucrats when he fought (and won) to put an end to the waste and mismanagement of City contracts.

• The former City administration wasn’t very happy when Bob pointed out that to acquire Whittaker Place for the Mill River Park project, the city had paid $1.2 million for a property which had an appraised value of no more the $395,000.

• And it was Bob Kolenberg, looking out for you and millions of your tax dollars, that forced the Board of Education to verify the city residency requirement for students.

• If you are a senior, or have seniors in your family, you have Bob to thank for leading fight for senior tax relief.

• Finally, Bob didn’t make many friends in City Government when he blew the whistle on the City Maintenance Department that was paying $500 per hour for vehicle repairs. (Even Ferrari dealerships don’t charge that much for repairs and they’re not driving Ferrari’s at City Hall – At least we hope not.)

To help out on any of the other races in the state:

From the desk of Chris Healy-CT GOP CHAIR:

"As we expected, Governor Malloy rewarded some if his Big Government partisan pals from the legislature with jobs in the new administration leaving 8 vacancies in the State Legislature. Disgraced State Senator Tom Gaffey's resignation added an additional vacancy bringing the total number of Special Elections to 9.

We have an opportunity to send more Republicans to Hartford to bring common sense solutions and responsible leaders to an out of control, out of touch elected class.

The Special Elections will be held on Tuesday, February 22nd, just 4 weeks away, we need your help! Follow this link now to find out who the candidates are and make a contribution to their campaign.

Manpower is essential to getting out the vote. Contact the candidate of your choice today to get them elected and make CT better for all of us.

God's Got You Covered

A true challenge for Christian Believers: To 'love' those who 'hate us', but to be WISE about it!
