Dear Ones:
I believe that people who have a basic understanding of what's going on around them will not be so 'afraid' of events happening, especially those which are out of our control. Therefore, I want to address a few basic concepts regarding the flubbub over all things 2012. Surely by now you've been bombarded by huge amounts of 2012 predictions and wonder what to think about all of it, just as I do.

First, we all basically understand that earthquakes result from shifts in tectonic plates. The earth has a hot, molten core and when it 'acts up', energy is directed towards the surface somewhere on the earth and it 'cracks' as an earthquake.

Then we have a similar situation on the sun, only on the sun, when the energy on the SURFACE "acts up", producing a solar flare, the energy (yes, besides being thrown out into space) is also transferred INWARDLY , thus producing what are known as SUNQUAKES.

Why am I telling you this? It is because the scientific community is convinced that a series of solar flares will occur before and around that infamous December 21, 2012 date. It is predicted that these flares will produce many large SUNQUAKES, which in turn will disrupt the surface of the sun and produce yet more energy-emitting solar flares.

Solar flare energy is measured by all sorts of parameters including proton, electron, 'magnetic field', 'plasma', etc emissions. One does not need to be an astrophysicist to tell from photos and graphs that things are active at this time in history.

Here is what you should bear in mind: Before any major EVENTS occur here on earth, there will be disturbances in SOLAR activity. As long as you have access to a computer, you will be able to prepare for these events. I'm not saying that the earth will be totally devastated, but I AM saying that some of the earth will suffer destruction. So you know, a series of solar events preceded the Haitian earthquakes. And though it's been lost in the translation, there have also recently been substantial earthquakes in California, the Philippines and elsewhere, ALSO due to recent solar history. Noting the trends is very useful for those who are not afraid to know a bit as we live in faith.

Is it time to panic? No. Is it time to be realistic? Yes. Is it time to prepare? Yes. Is all this predicted in Scripture? YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!

My Dear Ones, help those who are lost in their understanding of things and introduce them to the Redemptive Power of Jesus Christ. As many mothers and grandmothers and I do, don't you wonder how in the world anyone, young or old, can possibly manage with all the strife in the world without having a spiritual base in life

Dear Ones:

     Here is my advice as of today on whether or not you 'need' potassium iodide tablets in light of the earthquake and tsunami-induced Japan nuclear disaster.

     The QUICK answer is NO unless you are in Japan or deployed to or near Japan, period.

     Whether or not you will likely 'benefit' from taking iodine in the form of potassium iodide (KI)tablets depends upon a number of factors, including:

1) Where you live and work and proximity to the reactors in question.
2) The length of your presumptive 'exposure' to radioactivity from any compromised Japan reactors.
3)  The amount of radioactivity you are believed to have been exposed to.
4)  The nature of the detection and the measurement of residual 'radiation' you are carrying as evidenced by mechanical testing (Geiger counter, etc) and how it is 'dealt with'.
5) The exact nature of the 'fuel', the 'spent fuel' and the 'waste products' used in and generated by the reactor or reactors you have presumably been exposed to.
6) Barrier defenses between yourself and any breached reactors, including, but not limited to, personal protective 'gear' (NBC-suits, etc), concrete walls, lead shielding, personal and commercial dwelling construction, etc.
7) Your general health and cancer history
8) Your age
9) Whether you are pregnant or not
10) Lifestyle and genetic factors which are always factors in any given individual's 'personal outcome' in cases like this.
11) Whether or not you are likely to be 'deployed' as a military service member, as support personnel or in some other capacity to anywhere near Japan and vicinity.
     I will limit my discussion here to the nuclear reactor radioactive waste products, iodine-131 and iodine-129,  since these are the only radioisotopes that potassium iodide tablets have any potential ability to 'displace' in the human body.
     Aside from standard medical references, the most useful 'links' for my readers for this particular situation are:

     For the earthquake-tsunami aftermath in Japan, we will be required to consider 'hazardous waste' and 'exposure thereof' in all it's conceivable incarnations including: radioactive, medical, biological, chemical, infectious, pathogenic and toxic in the long-term.
     As Hurricane Andrew revealed the shoddy-construction methods and 'short-cuts' in many Florida dwellings, it may well be the same with a burgeoning number of allegations of 'short-cuts' taken in the construction of the crippled Japanese nuclear reactors.
      Leave it to 'incidents' of 'Biblical proportions' to reveal the wantonness of humankind in the most inexplicable of ways, and horrendously, at times, when it comes to valuing life-human and otherwise.
      We will undoubtedly be discussing the above at a future time, but let us return to our discussion of iodine at this time.
     Some basic background:
     Different forms of radioactive iodine present different levels of risk:
     "Iodine-129 has a half-life of 15.7 million years; iodine-131 has a half-life of about 8 days."     Read more here:

      Direct studies of the effects of different types of radioactivity upon the human body are sporadically available in the form of short, mid and long-term studies.
     Take this one, for example:
     "During 1945 through 1962, many people in the United States were exposed to radiation fallout from iodine 131 (I-131) from multiple sources. Many of those exposed were children younger than 10 years of age, the population most vulnerable to radiation exposure. This exposure put those children at risk for thyroid and parathyroid disease and cancer of the thyroid. (Dated November 25, 2002)

     Do not confuse the small amounts of I-131 used in radio-imaging medical studies with that which is encountered as a result of the breached Japan nuclear facilities.
     Both the short-lived I-131 and long-lived I-129 enter the body as indicated below.  As far as the body is concerned, it cannot determine whether iodine is radioactive or not or which isotope it is, for that matter.
     Iodine just 'is' as far as the human body is concerned, except that radioactive forms damage tissue and produce cellular mutations known as 'cancer'.
     "Radioactive iodine can enter the body by ingestion or inhalation. It dissolves in water so it moves easily from the atmosphere into humans and other living organisms. For example, I-129 and -131 can settle on grass where cows can eat it and pass it to humans through their milk. It may settle on leafy vegetables and be ingested by humans. Iodine isotopes also concentrate in marine and freshwater fish, which people may then eat."

     With this background in mind, here are my recommendations regarding the need or lack thereof at this time to avail oneself of the potential benefits of ingesting potassium iodide tablets in order to avert thyroid and parathyroid damage after radioactive 'iodine' exposure.
     These are the 'guidelines' I personally subscribe to for my family and friends and professionally as an alternative health care practitioner, as well as as a member of the Medical Reserve Corps (MRC)

     I've a lifetime interest in all things radiological, from my early 'enchantment and time spent at' Brookhaven National Lab on Long Island in the 1960's to the witnessing of a colleague accidentally 'spill' a 'stock amount' of I-131 on his lead-brick-lined lab bench at a prestigious cancer research center.
     I've worked with many beta emitters and some gamma-emitting radio-isotopes and equipment almost my entire life, proving that it is possible to do so safely with prudent and proper 'safeguards', even with an occasional 'unexpected' exposure.
     And so my recommendations for you are these:
NO-You don't need potassium iodide tablets at this time if you are NOT in Japan.
NO-You don't need to 'STOCKPILE' potassium iodide right now wherever you live.
YES-You DO need to take potassium iodide if you live in Japan.  This will have been given to you by your Emergency Preparedness Agencies, but if they have not been, the dosage guidelines are as follows:
•Adults should take 130 mg (one 130 mg tablet OR two 65 mg tablets OR two mL of solution).
•Women who are breastfeeding should take the adult dose of 130 mg.
•Children between 3 and 18 years of age should take 65 mg (one 65 mg tablet OR 1 mL of solution). Children who are adult size (greater than or equal to 150 pounds) should take the full adult dose, regardless of their age.
•Infants and children between 1 month and 3 years of age should take 32 mg (½ of a 65 mg tablet OR ½ mL of solution). This dose is for both nursing and non-nursing infants and children.
•Newborns from birth to 1 month of age should be given 16 mg (¼ of a 65 mg tablet or ¼ mL of solution). This dose is for both nursing and non-nursing newborn infants.
     These are the guidelines we use in the U.S., above.  Here is the link for you:

     Of course, as always, consult the advice of your personal health care provider for specific instructions for your individual case.
     Please note that taking potassium iodide regularly or when not needed is completely unwise.
     Also, taking MORE iodine than recommended does absolutely no good. 
     Either you were exposed, you took your potassium iodide and you avoided physiological damage and have moved away from any radioactive threat or you are not sure you were exposed and you took your potassium iodide and ALSO moved away from any radioactive threat.
     Either way, radio-isotopes OTHER than I-131 and I-129 are going to be of concern in 'hot areas' and potassium iodide ONLY ADRESSES iodine variants.
     If you are not in Japan, you are not at risk at this time and you do not need potassium iodide at the present time.
     I am monitoring the situation and if this changes, I will let you know promptly.
     I know I am always telling you that you must not depend on any government agency or personnel to 'save you' in the event of a disaster.
     But in this case, most municipalities are well-supplied (OR SHOULD BE!) with enough potassium iodide for anyone under their jurisdiction who may need it.
      And they should be able to 'acquire more' quickly and easily, for unlike something like 'flu vaccine', potassium iodide is cheap and readily available and is already adequately 'stockpiled' for you in many places.
     And where it is not, is will be, pronto.
     At the risk of sounding like an optimist and shedding my usual mantle of skepticism, I do believe that you need not be concerned about the nation's potassium iodide supply...which will only protect you 'so-far', in any case.
     Okay?  I hope this makes you feel better in some way.
      Additionally, if I may appeal to our 'vanity', for one thing, one can induce a major case of acne and other skin problems by ingesting excess iodine.
     Unnecessary 'iodine' consumption is also unwise in cases where iodine allergy and/or disclosed or undisclosed thyroid or parathyroid disease exist, so please use your 'common sense' with all of this.
     If you are not in Japan, there is absolutely no need to panic, nor should those who are there.
     This is the time to 'get to work' with intense monitoring studies and the construction of realistic 'evacuation plans' for the Japanese peoples, should a 'worst-case scenario' exist, which we pray will not be the case.
     Please remember that while potassium iodide has some potential to protect the thyroid, it does absolutely nothing 'protective' for the rest of the body in the event of an actual nuclear exposure, aside from, perhaps a 'calming placebo effect' for those susceptible to such things.
     And a special 'alternative medicine' note is due here: You know how some people suffer from some seafood allergies which are not always 'consistent'.
     In my experience with these cases, the culprit may not be so much the seafood, itself, as it is the IODINE content of said seafood, in fact.
     Now as a closing note here, I'd like to address future preparedness.
     In that light, I recommend that if you wish to purchase your own stores of potassium iodide for future use, do so when the current 'rush' subsides.
     Then do bear in mind that potassium iodide has a limited shelf-life and is good for little else outside of the laboratory and industrially.
     You may also wish to concentrate on another useful suggestion if 'you'd like to prepare'.  
     You might want to 'lay in' some thick plastic sheeting, duct tape, water and food and all else necessary to 'shelter-in-place' in the event of some minor fall-out event, or else all the potassium iodide in the world won't do you a bit of good at all.
     Take your time and shop for good values.  At least sheeting, tape, food and water are things we can utilize if they get 'old on the shelf' and having them just may help you sleep better at night!
     So, either you 'shelter-in-place' when evacuation is impossible and the nuclear hazard 'passes' or you 'shelter-in-place' until you CAN manage to evacuate-one never knows what the scenario will be in the end and we must react minute-by-minute to nuclear accidents and incidents.
     In the worst case scenario, it will be impossible to both adequately 'shelter-in-place' and/or evacuate, in which case you should get ready to meet your Maker.
     In summation: potassium iodide only protects two organs, essentially, the thyroid and parathyroid and it must be taken pronto after exposure with concurrent extraction from the 'hot zone' if this simple iodine salt is to be affective at all.
     Please continue to pray with me for all those in Japan and let us all in the world help them as much as we possibly can.

3-18-11 UPDATE: Though 'trace contamination' has been detected on international aircraft arriving in the U.S. from Japan, there is no threat to passengers from this.  Air carriers who make regular flights within Japan, and the surrounding areas will have to have a higher state of 'vigilance' with monitoring their aircraft for 'residual radiation'.
     At this point, simple 'exhaustive' wash-down with soap and water is the best method to reduce and eliminate the miniscule amounts of radioactivity we are talking about on aircraft here.
     This wash-down is the same method being used on persons who show 'low levels of radioactive exposure', in fact, and is a method which safely removes and dilutes any radioactive particles so that they are of no concern to the community.
     This method is used in labs 'routinely' for anything with minor contamination and there are special 'chelating agent soap-like products' which specificially 'bind and remove' the radioactive particles clinging to aircraft and even people.  These 'chelating detergents' are very effective' and do a good job all around and have a good track record over many years environmentally and otherwise.
     So as of today, Friday 3-18-11, my advice is that the traveling public need not be worried about whatever residual radioactivity is 'picked up' from the Japan Nuclear Disaster.

     With revised and updated traveling restrictions and perimeter restrictions in place, my advice remains pretty much the same regarding the administration of  potassium iodide tablets.
     YES to all visitors to and residents of Japan, as well as for all service members deployed in or near Japan, per their CO's orders.
     NO to residents outside of Japan at this time.
     The EPA and other agencies are monitoring radiation levels in air, food and water in the USA, Europe, Canada and elsewhere.
     Thus far, no major red flags are raised, although some radiation levels are mildly elevated in some samples.
     In my opinion, there is no cause for concern for those outside of Japan at this time.

Dear Ones:
     Yes, there have been an inordinate number of recognizable and 'noticeable' earthquakes in Arkansas over the last 24 hours or so.
     Yesterday I wrote about a Geomagnetic Storm expected to be here Feb 17-19.  As I have described many times before, seismic activity is correlated to 'space weather'. 
     Simply put, the 'energy' in its various forms which is hitting the earth from the sun manifests here in the form of severe weather (severe storms) with the potential for tornadoes, lightning, thunder, flooding, tsunamis, volcanic activity, seismic activity and more.
     This collection of events is collectively known as 'Geomagnetic Storms', more or less, depending upon who is doing the 'defining'--a meterologist or an astrophysicist, that is.
     Still, it's actually all the same as far as we are concerned.
     Recently, the sun erupted with a rare 'X-Class' solar flare, with two attendant CME's (Coronal Mass Ejections).

     In terms of electrical phenomena, we see 'auroras' ('Northern Lights') at lower latitudes and can experience electrical, power grid and voltage fluctuations.
     Satellite functioning and transmission can be interrupted or terminated temporarily.
     Radio transmissions can be disrupted and the earth can be subjected to 'waves' of all sorts of ionizing radiation.
     Communication can be severely disrupted.
     In a 'nutshell', energy from a set of recent solar events, including the 'x-class flare' and CME's disturb the earth's magnetic field, resulting in affecting seismic activity to one degree or another.
     THIS is why Arkansas is acting up.

     You will note that while the magnitudes are relatively small, they are also relatively 'shallow'. 
     As a rule, 'the shallower the quake, the more it is felt at the surface', even with a lower-magnitude earthquake.

"February 16, 2011 -- The calm before the storm. Three CMEs are enroute, all a part of the Radio Blackout events on February 13, 14, and 15 (UTC). Dear Ones:
     This is not intended to scare you, but recently the sun erupted with a very large, powerful 'Class X' solar flare.  As I write and you read this, energy from the sun is hurling towards earth...Energy which will precipitate what is known as a 'Geomagnetic Storm'.

     Do you see that green bar on the graph above?  That indicates that the expected date of the 'storm's' arrival is somewhere around Feb 18-20.
     I say, be aware of the possibility of sooner activity on earth starting now and take care if you live in 'danger areas' prone to earthquakes, flooding, volcanic activity and the like.
     (It is just my opinion that NOAA and NASA's timing predictions are often a little late, for what it's worth.)
     I pray not much comes of this, but we are currently in a period of 'Solar Minimum' which means that solar activity is (theoretically) fewer and far between, but more intense when the sun DOES act up.

     All Geomagnetic storms are not considered equal, because different kinds of energy can manifest in different storms or even within the same storm at different or the same time.

     To illustrate this, look at the graph below which is a graph of the 'Planetary K Index' (the Kp Index), which is an index by which geomagnetic storms are measured.

     The above graph is also correlated to 'aurora activity' in the northern hemisphere.  The rule is, generally, the higher the Kp index, the more brilliant the auroras sighted.

     'The Observed Hemispheric Auroral Power Input' is the 1-10 scale on which auroral power input (i.e. the energy hitting the earth from the sun) is measured.

     A quick examination of the 'Warnings' Chart on the top of this page reveals that we are to expect a Geomagnetic Storm on earth with potentially many or ALL the types of energy known to emanate from the sun, which can impact earth.

     This includes ionizing radiation such as x-rays, gamma rays, UV rays....as well as radio waves, electrical energy plus proton energy which we will take a look at below.

     Now, this 'proton flux' elevation is not good.  In fact, since I've started my Tutorials here (click on index keyword 'Tutorials' at the bottom of this article), I haven't seen a fluctuation such as this.

     (But then again, I don't follow space weather for a living, but only discuss it when it has Biblical  relevence, when there are safety concerns for the people of the world and when scientific curiosity piques my interest.)

      The bottom-line is that the expected Geomagnetic Storm will produce severe weather events and likely earth-based movements, eruptions and disruptions.

     There could be radio black-outs, radiation showers, unstable weather with tornadoes and, as I've discussed in my Tutorials, attendant earthquakes and the like.
     It is not routinely discussed for some reason, but Geomagnetic Storms affect the earth's magnetic field.  THIS is what prompts seismic, volcanic and other 'inner earth-related' movement, often with powerful effect, in case you didn't realize this, along with severe weather.

     As I said, there's no need to panic, but do check these links and here for further updates.
     Of course, our 'measuring, warning and communication' systems are dependent upon satellites, but solar energy (see proton map) can 'knock out', block, or 'black-out' satellites and their signals.
     So, as ever, real-time observations by trained meteorologists, astronomers, and nerds of all sorts will be as necessary as ever.

Dear Ones:
     You might be noting some 'extreme weather' in the form of tornadoes, etc., across the country today...or some 'other' day, for that matter. 
     I just want to point out that this correlates with some unstable 'space weather'...the energy of which is hitting the earth from the sun.
     Overall, our 'sun' is in what we call at a 'Solar Minimum'.  What this means is that while overall sun activity (in the form of solar flares and concurrent x-ray, electrical, proton, radio and other energy forms) occurs less frequently...the 'flare-ups' often stronger when they do occur.

     As I have detailed in my 'Tutorials' (click below), when solar energy from a solar eruption manages to hit our planet, it is manifested in many ways, such as earthquakes, storms, tornadoes, etc. 
     Don't forget that the earth, itself, is the source of energy from down below the earth's crust, all the way down to it's core.  This 'earth energy' can combine with the 'geomagnetic storm energy' from the sun, resulting in earthquakes and the 'geomagnetic storms' of movie fame.
     Sometimes there is a 'lag period' of several days before we 'notice' anything here...and sometimes there is hardly any lag period at all.  Many factors enter into play, as you will learn.

     Be sure to check NOAA's "Current Space Weather Warnings in effect" if you detect some foul weather coming your way so that you can judge for yourself how intense the activity might be for you and your loved ones locally.

Dear Ones:
     By now, you know from general news reports that something's going on in earth's upper atmosphere, not to mention on the sun, itself.  You can bring yourself up-to-date by looking at my series of 'TUTORIALS' listed below and at the right.
     But what may not be as obvious and IS NOT YET MENTIONED IN THE PRESS...is the fact that SEISMIC ACITIVITY all over the world is UP.  There are a great number of earthquakes at this time, although I am not sure if anyone else will be acknowledging this.

     For persons of faith and for those who doubt or disbelieve, here is some information that you should bear in mind for future reference:

In 'one of my other lives', as many of you know, I am a 'biochemist', an alternative healthcare provider, as well as a very nerdy 'astrophysicist wannabe'.  But my idiosyncratic tendencies aside, here is a 'map' of the power from the sun's recently ejected (CME) "coronal mass ejection" hitting the earth right this very moment.

You can 'refresh' this link at your will and see what's happening in 'real-time' whenever you want to...assuming satellite transmission is up and running and not being interfered with by geomagnetic storm activity, that is.

Do you see that little 'red arrow' in the graphic above? That indicates exactly where the energy from the sun which hits the earth is being directed. You can use that red arrow as a guide in the event of a major 'Geomagnetic Storm' catastrophe to see what's aimed in your direction--again, if you can manage to get online.

One major caveat here: space weather predictions are notoriously 'loose and inaccurate' and in my opinion, under-emphasized. Then again, I do understand that our NOAA, NASA and academic astrophysicist friends are subject to understandable 'restraints' in order that the public does not panic. 

I mean, God forbid the American public should be deemed capable of understanding, processing and reacting to a disaster of some sort, right?  Hasn't the 'paradigm' always been to tell us the least amount possible?  Yes, it has been.

So those of you who are taking the time to learn here are in good stead. I suspect that some 'renegade' NOAA and NASA personnel will be forthcoming, but my recommendation is to GLEAN INFORMATION FOR YOURSELF AND FOR YOUR FAMILIES INDEPENDENTLY!

There's been a massive CME (coronal mass ejection). This means that all the solar Tutorials I've tortured you with (if you played along) these many months have not been for naught.      Have you noticed the recent 'extreme weather events' recently?  Have you noticed excessive winds in the form of storms and tornadoes?  Are you wondering why we are predicted to have a more severe hurricane season than usual?...Have you even noticed periodic 'interruptions' on your cable t.v. transmissions and satellite disruptions?

June 4, 2010: Earth and space are about to come into contact in a way that's new to human history. To make preparations, authorities in Washington DC are holding a meeting: The Space Weather Enterprise Forum at the National Press Club on June 8th.                                            

Many technologies of the 21st century are vulnerable to solar storms. [more] Richard Fisher, head of NASA's Heliophysics Division, explains what it's all about:
"The sun is waking up from a deep slumber, and in the next few years we expect to see much higher levels of solar activity. At the same time, our technological society has developed an unprecedented sensitivity to solar storms. The intersection of these two issues is what we're getting together to discuss."


The National Academy of Sciences framed the problem two years ago in a landmark report entitled "Severe Space Weather Events—Societal and Economic Impacts." It noted how people of the 21st-century rely on high-tech systems for the basics of daily life. Smart power grids, GPS navigation, air travel, financial services and emergency radio communications can all be knocked out by intense solar activity. A century-class solar storm, the Academy warned, could cause twenty times more economic damage than Hurricane Katrina.

     Is this a picture of a 'Phoenix' for us?  No.  I think that God is giving us message which is loud and clear.  Already I hear our President obfuscating about this issue and already he is pumping out 'the Green Initiative'.  Again we are being regaled with his lofty and empty rhetoric as to 'how this oil spill definitively points to 'evils' of petroleum fuels.  Of course Obama says this; it's his bread and butter.  And of course it's "Obama's Katrina".  It'll be "Obama's Katrina x 14.078 Trillion (that number is the estimated national debt for 2010 in case you haven't been paying attention).  Just watch.
     The other day, I watched a child prodigy explain why she'd 'switched her high school science project from solar to something else'.  She explained that where she lived, it was 'cloudy all the time and she couldn't get her projects to work well'.  Surprise, surprise.  Kids today are smart.

      Nuclear Power is 'here', it's powerful, it's clean and it's safe when used properly by those who are not ignorant about it's use.  But plugging nuclear power here would be as insensitive as what the 'Greenies' are doing. 
     Personally, I think solar energy is dead in the water before it will ever take off.  Why?  Between natural disasters (volcanic eruptions/ash cloud accumulations, lightning-induced fires, etc) and man-made ones (oil spills which ignite either at the hands of humans or nature)...And with the use of coal in China and elsewhere polluting the dickens out of our atmosphere...We don't have a snowball's chance in the Sahara of having 'clear enough skies' to satisfy the 'Greenies' lust for solar technology.   In simple terms: we won't have enough sunlight to make solar energy very useful.
     Poor Al Gore and his posse.  Not only is his 'global warming agenda' now totally debunked as 'junk science', but his financial investments are now also at risk, given what we now know about the state of affairs of earth's atmosphere and ionosphere.  (Stay tuned for a piece on the latter which will prove to you once and for all what dolts we are for fouling our own nest with  'HAARP' for those of you who are up to yet another technical treatise at http://www.dearoneshealingministry.blogspot.com/)
     And poor Al Gore as he gets 'outted' for the fuel-guzzling jet-setting 'lifestyle' he consistently maintains.  It can't be easy for the man to be such a hypocrite.  You'd think that a guy who's smart enough to invent the Internet would be able to put '2 and 2 together' for himself, but not Al Gore.  He belongs to that dying generation who thinks that we people are 'just too dumb' to see what he is doing.  He also thinks that we noodnicks won't speak out.  He thinks 'we're just stuck on stupid'.  But we're going to fool him, because we're not.
     But there's a new paradigm for 2010 now.  For me personally, I'm the little 'phoenix' myself rising up out of the ashes of political disinterest up to a vital interest and activity in the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT.  I must say it feels really good to be 'liberated' not just from the anti-white,  heterophobic, anti-American, anti-Israeli politics of my former church, the UCC (better known as the Obama/Wright church)...But it is also feels great to be able to 'do something' other than sit on the sidelines and wring my hands (not that I'm the type to wring my hands, actually, but you get the idea).  Now I understand why the progressive-lib culture I've been immersed in is so damn political--it's LIBERATING and EMPOWERING, is why and  I think I LOVE it!
     Still, no matter how hard I try, I still honor my root sensitivities.  I watch things like this below and I weep for all involved.  I'm not self-centered enough to promote my own political agenda at the cost of those who suffer.  It's not time for me to 'push a nuclear agenda'.  It's not time for the 'Greenies' to push their phoney 'global warming' agendas and it's not time to peddle the solar panel business sector.  It's time to get busy and band together and help with this oil spill.  It's time to act like sentient human beings and understand and be empathetic to the harm and grief being done to those in the Gulf area--to humans, animals and ecosystems, alike.
     Watch this below.  If you don't feel this man's pain, you're just...well, you are just what you are.
