FROM TEAM FOLEY-BOUGHTON:HARTFORD COURANT: MALLOY WRONG ON BIBB
Courant Claim Check Confirms Democrat Claims Are Wrong
For weeks, Dannel Malloy and the Democratic Governors Association have been running false and misleading ads against Tom Foley pertaining to his time with the Bibb Company.
In a recent Claim Check article the Hartford Courant confirmed independently that claims Tom Foley laid off workers at the Bibb plant are just plain wrong:
“…the Democratic Governors Association's ad makes an accusation it can't back up. And although the passage of time might make the details murky, that is not an excuse for leveling charges unsupported by the record. The layoff claim is wrong.” – The Hartford Courant, Claim Check – October 6, 2010
The DGA ad referenced by the Courant is based on false claims made by Dannel Malloy in his advertising and in the first debate between the candidates on October 5.
If Malloy continues to make these claims, regardless of the fact that he has been proven wrong, it will show he has no regard for the truth.
