From Rob Merkle Re: Wilton Town Hall Tonight 7-9 pmFriends,
This evening we continue our series of pre-primary public events that will have spanned more than 6 weeks and covered the entire 4th Congressional district when we wrap up in August. Tonight will be our Wilton Town Hall forum in at the Wilton Library from 7-9pm.
I will give a 15-30 minute presentation of my policies for making our government more effective and efficient, more accountable to the people and fiscally responsible. Following the presentation the audience will be invited to ask questions.
Open forums such as these will allow you an opportunity to ask me any questions you have regarding my policies and my plans to help our district and our country. I hope to demonstrate why I am the best candidate in the race; the only candidate with the background, experience and character to beat Jim Himes.
While my opponents have been in politics for many years, I am not a career politician beholden to party or special interests. I am a citizen candidate who has never been in politics, but could no longer sit on the sidelines allowing others to chart the course of my family and friends’ lives. I am a businessman who has felt the crushing burdens of an overreaching government and overbearing taxation. I am an American who can no longer sit by and watch the decline of the country that I love.
Please join me tonight, July 7th at:

7:00pm – 9:00pm.
If you are unable to come, please consider supporting my campaign by making a contribution of $50, $100, $200 or more or by volunteering with the campaign. Together we can stop moderating our message and defeat Jim Himes.
The people of the 4th District want a congressman who will defend us, our country and our Constitution; they want a Republican candidate who believes in conservative principles of fiscal responsibility and limited government.
On August 10th, Republicans of the 4th District will choose a conservative candidate who lives up to these measures.
My name is Rob Merkle and I am that candidate. I am the clear choice to beat Jim Himes in November.--------------------------------------------------------
All the Best,
Rob Merkle
