Timothy Joseph Montague
Dear Ones: Here's an email I received from my daughter Jen about her friend Tracey's efforts. Too often, naturally lost babies are considered to be some sort of 'blessing in disguise'. Saying this to a grieving parents who do not believe and feel that is, in fact, cruel.
This is especially so when a pregnancy is well along. I never have understood what 'blessing in disguise' means, since all babies, full-term or not, healthy or not, special needs or not, are treasures. But nothing in life is straightforward and for all parents everywhere, I am confident in saying that God will give us all the answers we need in His good time. But even as I say this, I realize that for those who have lost children, words utterly fail and faith alone sustains us.
The fact is that the parents already KNOW something went wrong and telling them the obvious is often more for the benefit of the 'consoler' than for the parents. What parents who have lost a child need is compassion and understanding. These parents need to be surrounded by people who care and acknowledge their right to grieve. Most of all, grieving parents need loved ones who actually support and actively participate in their grieving. Anyone with a heart understands what I am saying here.
I realize the 'gist' of what I propose are not embraced by everyone. Many people don't even consider an embryo or a fetus to be alive, let alone a person. Some day they will learn otherwise, whether or not it's 'too late' for them to get right with the Lord. But for those who do understand, here's a very real way to help God's Precious Children, by supporting this March of Dimes, March for Babies, if you are able to.
One need not be a parent to understand here; one only need care about others and especially our 'littlest and helpless' ones. Prayers are most precious of all and I ask for those for little Timothy, in Heaven now...back with Jesus....and for Tim's parents, Tim and Tracey and their families and friends.
Thank you and God Bless you.
With Love in Christ,

The mission of March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.
Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

Every day, babies wanted by their parents are born too soon. Every day, even more babies are murdered by their parents because they are not wanted. Which is the more reprehensible crime?
I do support March of Dimes. I also support the education of young women to consider the pain of their babies when they "choose" murder over life, then consider the lifelong pain of asking oneself, "What if...?"
I was given the choice twenty years ago. I chose life and adoption for my baby. Today, she is a vibrant, beautiful, intelligent and fun young woman.
I almost lost her at six months of pregnancy and was devastated that I might have done something to cause this. The doctors were able to stop the early labor, but she was born a month early anyway at 4 1/2 pounds.
I am so happy I fought for her life and provided her a family who would love her as much as I did then and still do today.
